I've had a look at similar answers but haven't seen an answer to this.

Sadly, running this in the browser (file:///Users/Will/Projects/angular/demo/index.html), it doesn't work. Is this because it's local?
Consider that the following works when loaded directly from the filesystem (and not a webserver):

Note that I have changed "ng-app='store'" to "ng-app", so that angular is not trying to load the 'store' module.
This shows that angular, on its own, is doing its thing correctly. So the issue is somewhere within the store module. As suggested in the comments, check your browser console for error messages, and troubleshoot those.

The code is correct. You just need to move your script tag just before you close the body tag.

You should include js below of your element definitions.
Browser is compiling html scripts from top to below. If you included js code before all elements defined then that catch nothing and it returns error.

I'm busy pumping out some web projects from the Odin Project. Anyway, I'd like to adhere to the software engineering process of taking small steps and testing them. Now, for instance, I'd like to see the output of document.querySelector("body"). It is my understanding that I should place the tag somewhere, I'm not too sure what the best place is. The StackOverflow posts on this topic are quite ambiguous. Here's my code:

It is the way webengine play with source. Most ( and almost all ) webengine put everything into body that can be ( i.e following the standard ) because body is taken as subroot for DOM structure

I am learning React right now and when I execute this html file in the browser, nothing happens.
I am wondering where the two lines of code are suppose to go or how to call them (execute the rendering).

I'm trying to learn Angular.JS, so I wrote this simple code just to test it:

In the browser I'm supposed to see the following output: The sum of 5+10 is: 15, but I just see it as it is: The sum of 5+10 is: {{5 + 10}}. I tried it both in Chrome and FF, I tried to add the angular.js from Google CDN with <script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.26/angular.min.js"></script>, I tried to move the script between the <head> tags, but the outcome is always the same.
What am I doing wrong? Why don't I have the output correctly?

When you specify a name for ng-app, it's expecting to find a user-created module with that name. If you're truly just wanting your example to work, you can simply remove the ="myapp" and you'll be all set.

If you want to keep your "myapp" name, add this script block after you load angular.

Either remove name initialization in html:

Or initialize module in your javascript file:

Just use "ng-app":

respect the order of the script tags (jquery -> handlebars -> ember)
create a body tag, ember needs to be able to write to it
put the script tags right before the </body> tag
