I know the Title is a little obscure, but I will try to explain my best. Since OS X Lion the login screen of the Macs presents a row of images of the available users. Once you click one of those images, the rest disappear, centering the clicked one and revealing a password field.
I want to do a similar thing in a web-app. I have a few users, and I want them to click on their image to reveal the password field.
I searched for similar options, but can't find anything, and I don't even know how to proceed. I guess JQuery or Javascript would be necessary, but those I know little to nothing (HTML & CSS shouldn't be a problem, but well, I don't even know how to start this simple thing... )
Thanks!

Google is your friend... no matter how much the NSA are watching. Use it to search for tutorials, these are the best way to learn. Mostly CSS will be needed to make it look like the OSX login screen... maybe a bit of jQuery.
Within in seconds I found this page of many examples of login forms. And then I found this one that looks very similar to an OSX login page.

I can't use drag and drop method. I have gone through the jquery pinify plugin, but what I understood is that, it only encourage user to pin website using drag and drop using intelligent popups rather than doing it on it's own.
Is this even possible?
No luckily this is not possible.
Imagine the security reasons behind it. No website can change something on your OS. (At least that's what we all hope, that's why I say "luckily" we have a problem if this would not be like so).
Or imagine this: You create a website. The font is defined by designers and project managers which discussed which font and which font-size will be the best to represent the company on the web. So you created the website based on those requirements. But now, I have some issues with my eyes. This is why I setup my browser with a default font-size. This is what I need, to read any content from the web. Now, NO! You can not change this! Why? Because I have set something in my browser settings, also those are part of my "personal" settings. You can not look into them and you obviously can not change them. Hope this helps.

So I've seen a mouse-hover effect on 2 websites so far and I really like it.
This is the effect I'm talking about.
I'd be grateful if somebody can tell me how to get that effect on my webpage.
It only appears under your cursor when you hover over the page.
The site you have linked in the comments uses the HTML canvas element. But You can simply use already existing libraries for that effect.
Examples mentioned in the comments:
http://jnicol.github.io/particleground/
http://github.com/VincentGarreau/particles.js
Simply, Go to the webpage you wanted to Copy it's effects or anything from it
Right click, View page source
If the effect is made by Css, you will find it in stylesheets tab
If it's using jQuery/Js, Search the head for <script> , Read them and copy the effect (assuming that you understand js/jquery
For more simplicity, use Firebug, open it and just point the cursor at the item you want to see it's source.
But, actually
You can find it at github Here
Change what you want.

I'm wondering how I can achieve an effect similar to that of http://eng.getlost-getnatural.ru/ or http://rnbtheme.com/sixteenth/. I've contacted various support forums supplied through Wordpress and all they've been able to tell me is that I need to get a web developer and that the effect was possible. I, however, don't have the money for a web developer and went searching online to try to find what I was looking for and haven't been able to find anything yet. I can make code changes to my Wordpress site using javascript or css. Thank you so much to everyone who helps and answers!
What you are asking for could take a couple of hours to code from scratch, and then trying to match it to a wordpress site that we can't see or use as reference can create a lot of problems. I recommend looking at some jQuery plugins.
Here is a site to get you started, https://www.jssor.com/demos/vertical-slider.slider.
If you have any questions about the code once you download the plugin then we will be able to help you further.

I want to create a webpage with several small tiles that enlarge when clicked (And show more/different content, but that's not a part of this question).
This is what I have now: http://puu.sh/nX929.png
When I click on the first tile, it looks exactly like I want it to: http://puu.sh/nX9l9.png
But when I click the second tile it looks like this: http://puu.sh/nX95G.png (gap on the left)
That's not what I want, I want to other (small) tiles to float around it. To fill the empty space.
The source code (+ live example) can be found here (but I wouldn't mind doing it in a completely different way): https://www.crescendosassenheim.nl/Hugo/Training/
I don't even know what to Google, because I have absolutely no idea what kind of technique I can use to achieve what I want. Any suggestions?
http://masonry.desandro.com/methods.html Take a look at this I am sure this will help you, what you want is even displayed at the bottom of the page i am linking.
Download masonry in your computer link to it and follow the little guide in their website.

This is a little hard to explain.
I want to have a separate home page depending on where people are coming from. For example, if they come from FaceBook, I'd like a special home page for FaceBook users. If they come from Google, I'd like another home page for them.
Here's an example of a website that does this. It will be the normal site at first, but once you've clicked the link thru FaceBook, your browser will only load the FaceBook version.
Normal:
http://www.protectyourhome.com/
From FaceBook:
http://www.protectyourhome.com/Facebook
Any ideas on the codes I'd need for this?
I figured out another way to do this, it's not exactly what I wanted but I made a copy of the website with the index page as indexFB.php and only linked that version of the site with Facebook.
