Problem with sending text from yaml Discord.js - javascript

i have a problem sending text from yaml. Saving text works but sending does not. Here's the code:
const { Message, MessageEmbed } = require("discord.js")
const { channel } = require('./kanal')
const db = require('quick.db')
module.exports = {
name: "reklama",
guildOnly: true,
description:
"Change guild prefix. If no arguments are passed it will display actuall guild prefix.",
usage: "[prefix]",
run(msg, args, guild) {
if (!guild) {
const guld = new MessageEmbed()
.setTitle("Błąd!")
.setColor("RED")
.setDescription("Tą komende można tylko wykonać na serwerze!")
.setThumbnail('https://emoji.gg/assets/emoji/3485-cancel.gif')
.setTimestamp()
.setFooter(`${msg.author.tag} (${msg.author.id})`, `${msg.author.displayAvatarURL({dynamic: true})}`)
msg.channel.send(guild)
}
const { settings } = client
const prefixArg = args[0]
if (!settings.get(guild.id)) {
settings.set(guild.id, { prefix: null })
}
if (!prefixArg) {
let Reklama = client.settings.get(guild.id).Reklama
let Kanal = client.settings.get(guild.id).Kanał
const embed = new MessageEmbed()
.setTitle(`Informacje o serwerze: ${msg.guild.name}`)
.addField("Treść reklamy:", Reklama)
.addField("Kanał do wysyłania reklam:", Kanal)
msg.channel.send(embed)
}
setInterval(() => {
Kanal.send(`${Reklama}`)
}, 1000)
},catch(e){
console.log(e)
}
}
Here is a part of command handler:
const args = msg.content.slice(length).trim().split(" ")
const cmdName = args.shift().toLowerCase()
const cmd =
client.commands.get(cmdName) ||
client.commands.find(
(cmd) => cmd.aliases && cmd.aliases.includes(cmdName),
)
try {
cmd.run(msg, args)
} catch (error) {
console.error(error)
}
})
}
The problem is that when I start the bot, it shows me such an error:
let Reklama = client.settings.get(guild.id).Reklama
^
TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined

The problem is you don't pass the guild variable to your run method. You call cmd.run(msg, args) but run accepts three parameters.
You can either pass the guild or get it from the msg like this:
module.exports = {
name: 'reklama',
guildOnly: true,
description:
'Change guild prefix. If no arguments are passed it will display actuall guild prefix.',
usage: '[prefix]',
run(msg, args) {
// destructure the guild the message was sent in
const { guild } = msg;
if (!guild) {
const embed = new MessageEmbed()
.setTitle('Błąd!')
.setColor('RED')
.setDescription('Tą komende można tylko wykonać na serwerze!')
.setThumbnail('https://emoji.gg/assets/emoji/3485-cancel.gif')
.setTimestamp()
.setFooter(
`${msg.author.tag} (${msg.author.id})`,
`${msg.author.displayAvatarURL({ dynamic: true })}`,
);
return msg.channel.send(embed);
}
const { settings } = client;
const prefixArg = args[0];
if (!settings.get(guild.id)) {
settings.set(guild.id, { prefix: null });
}
if (!prefixArg) {
let Reklama = client.settings.get(guild.id).Reklama;
let Kanal = client.settings.get(guild.id).Kanał;
const embed = new MessageEmbed()
.setTitle(`Informacje o serwerze: ${msg.guild.name}`)
.addField('Treść reklamy:', Reklama)
.addField('Kanał do wysyłania reklam:', Kanal);
msg.channel.send(embed);
}
setInterval(() => {
Kanal.send(`${Reklama}`);
}, 1000);
},
catch(e) {
console.log(e);
},
};

405 Error using slash command handler Discord.js

I got a 405: Method Not Allowed error when I was running the slash command builder.
There's the code:

const { Client } = require("discord.js");
const mongoose = require("mongoose");
const globPromise = promisify(glob);
/**

const commandFiles = await globPromise(`${process.cwd()}/commands/**/*.js`);
commandFiles.map((value) => {
const file = require(value);
const splitted = value.split("/");

Discord.js: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'hello')

I am creating a Discord command handler using discord.js version 14.4.0 but I keep getting this error, here is my code:
const settings = require(`${process.cwd()}/config/settings.json`);
const ee = require(`${process.cwd()}/config/embed.json`);
const colors = require("colors");
const Discord = require("discord.js");
module.exports = {

requiredroles: [],
alloweduserids: [],
type: Discord.ApplicationCommandType.ChatInput,
options: [],
run: async (client, interaction) => {
try {
interaction.reply({ content: `${client.word.hello}` });
} catch (error) {
console.log(colors.red(error));
let somethingWrong = new Discord.EmbedBuilder()
.setColor(ee.colors.Red)
.setTitle("❌| Something wrong!")
.setDescription(`❌| Sorry, I failed setting up...!`)
.setFooter({ text: `${interaction.guild.name}`, iconURL: interaction.guild.iconURL() })
return interaction.reply({ embeds: [somethingWrong], ephemeral: true });

TypeError: command.run is not a function

I'm kinda new to coding and i cannot figure this out. im trying to add permission handler and when i run a slash command, it responds within the error given below.
error:
D:\VS Code\######\events\interactionCreate.js:9
command.run(client, inter)
^
TypeError: command.run is not a function
code (interactionCreate):
const { MessageEmbed, Message, Interaction } = require("discord.js")
const client = require("../index").client
client.on('interactionCreate', async inter => {
if(inter.isCommand()) {
const command = client.commands.get(inter.commandName);
if(!command) return;
command.run(client, inter)
if (command.help?.permission) {
const authorPerms = inter.channel.permissionsFor(inter.member);
if (!authorPerms || !authorPerms.has(command.permission)) {
const noPerms = new MessageEmbed()

return inter.editReply({embeds: [noPerms], ephemeral: true})
.then((sent) =>{
setTimeout(() => {
sent.delete()
}, 10000)
})
return;
}
}
}
}
)
this is how one of my command file looks like, its a handler which goes "commands > moderation > ban.js"
const { MessageEmbed, Message } = require("discord.js")
module.exports.run = async (client, inter) => {
const user = inter.options.getUser('user')
let BanReason = inter.options.getString('reason')
const member = inter.guild.members.cache.get(user.id)
if(!BanReason) reason = 'No reason provided.'
const existEmbed = new MessageEmbed()
.setColor('#2f3136')

const bannedEmbed = new MessageEmbed()
.setColor('#46b281')

const failedEmbed = new MessageEmbed()
.setColor('#ec4e4b')
.setDescription(`<:failed:961309491763228742> Cannot ban **${user.tag}**. Please make sure I have permission to ban.`)
if(!member) return inter.reply({ embeds: [existEmbed]})
try {
await inter.guild.members.ban(member, { reasons: BanReason })
} catch(e) {
return inter.reply({ embeds: [failedEmbed]})
}
inter.reply({ embeds: [bannedEmbed]})
}
module.exports.help = {
name: 'ban',
permission: 'BAN_MEMBERS'
}
btw inter = interaction

Invite created event (discord.js v12)

I am trying to send an embed whenever a invite is created.
Channel set file
let config = require("../config.json");
const { MessageEmbed } = require("discord.js");
const Discord = require("discord.js");
const client = new Discord.Client();
module.exports = {
name: "setinvite",
description: "set invite channel log.",
async execute(message, args) {
if (!message.member.hasPermission(`ADMINISTRATOR`)) {
return message.channel.send(
`:x: You do not have permission to use this command!`
);
} else {
let channelx =
message.mentions.channels.first() ||
message.guild.channels.cache.find((c) => c.id === args[0]);
if (!channelx)
return message.channel.send(
`:x: Please specify a channel to make it as the modlogs!`
);
message.channel.send(`${channelx} has been set!`);
}
},
};
Index.js Modules (PS: I took the most relevant ones.)
const Discord = require("discord.js");
const client = new Discord.Client();
const fs = require("fs");
const { MessageEmbed } = require("discord.js");
const guildInvites = new Map();
const { channelx } = require("./commands/setinvite");
Index.js file
client.on("inviteCreate, message", async (invite) => {
const setc = client.channels.cache.get(`${channelx}`);
message.guild.fetchInvites().then((invites) => {
let allInvites = invites.map((i) => ({
name: "Invite",
value: `**Inviter:** ${i.inviter}
**Code:** https://discord.gg/${i.code}
**Usages:** ${i.uses} of ${i.maxUses === 0 ? "∞" : i.maxUses}
**Expires on:** ${
i.maxAge
? new Date(i.createdTimestamp + i.maxAge * 1000).toLocaleString()
: "never"
}`,
inline: true,
}));
setc.send(new Discord.MessageEmbed().addFields(allInvites));
});
});
I don't think the two events (inviteCreate, message) belong I did it because I received a error:
ReferenceError: message is not defined
Now, the channel set features works as intended but whenever the invite is created the embed doesn't send.
You can't merge all events inside one function.
You only need to keep the inviteCreate event. Then, you have to find a way to get the guild without using the "message" variable. Instead you can use the "invite" parameter that is present inside the inviteCreate event.
client.on("inviteCreate", async (invite) => {
const setc = client.channels.cache.get(`${channelx}`);
invite.guild.fetchInvites().then((invites) => {
let allInvites = invites.map((i) => ({
name: "Invite",
value: `**Inviter:** ${i.inviter}
**Code:** https://discord.gg/${i.code}
**Usages:** ${i.uses} of ${i.maxUses === 0 ? "∞" : i.maxUses}
**Expires on:** ${
i.maxAge
? new Date(i.createdTimestamp + i.maxAge * 1000).toLocaleString()
: "never"
}`,
inline: true,
}));
setc.send(new Discord.MessageEmbed().addFields(allInvites));
});
});

I'm having issues in Discord.js with functions like client.users.cache.size

Whenever I try to use a function like client.users.cache.size or client.guilds.size, they keep giving me an error like "TypeError: Cannot read property 'guilds' of undefined" or "TypeError: Cannot read property 'cache' of undefined".
I was also trying to use let guilds = client.guilds.cache.array().join('\n') but it also throws the same error.
Command's code:
const Discord = require('discord.js');
module.exports = {
name: 'stats',
description: 'Views the bot\'s stats',
execute(client, message) {
const embed = new Discord.MessageEmbed
.setDescription(`In ${client.guilds.size} servers`)
.setTimestamp()
.setFooter(message.member.user.tag, message.author.avatarURL());
message.channel.send(embed)
}
}
Bot's main file:
const path = require('path');
const fs = require("fs");
const { token, prefix } = require('./config.json');
const Discord = require('discord.js');
const db = require ('quick.db');
const client = new Discord.Client
client.commands = new Discord.Collection();
const isDirectory = source => fs.lstatSync(source).isDirectory();
const getDirectories = source => fs.readdirSync(source).map(name => path.join(source, name)).filter(isDirectory);

for(const file of commandFiles) {
const command = require(`${category}/${file}`);
client.commands.set(command.name, command);
}
});
client.on("ready", () => {

console.log(token);

const activities_list = [

});

console.log(`Left Guild: ${guild.name}`);
client.channels.cache.get(`746423099871985755`).send(EmbedLeave)
});
client.on('message', message => {
if (!message.content.startsWith(prefix) || message.author.bot) return;
const args = message.content.slice(prefix.length).trim().split(/ +/);
const commandName = args.shift().toLowerCase();
const command = client.commands.get(commandName)
|| client.commands.find(cmd => cmd.aliases && cmd.aliases.includes(commandName));
if (!command) return;
if (command.guildOnly && message.channel.type === 'dm') {
return message.reply('I can\'t execute that command inside DMs!');
}
if (command.args && !args.length) {
let reply = `${message.author}, wrong usage`;
if (command.usage) {
reply += `\nThe proper usage would be: \`${prefix}${command.name} ${command.usage}\``;
}
return message.channel.send(reply);
}
try {
command.execute(message, args);
} catch (error) {
console.error(error);
message.reply('there was an error trying to execute that command!');
}
});
process.on("error", () => {
console.log("Oops something happened!");
});
client.login(token);
In your code, client.guilds returns a manager, so you have to use client.guilds.cache.size. The rest of the code works fine.
const Discord = require('discord.js');
module.exports = {
name: 'stats',
description: 'Views the bot\'s stats',
execute(message, args, client) {
const embed = new Discord.MessageEmbed
.setDescription(`In ${client.guilds.cache.size} servers`)
.setTimestamp()
.setFooter(message.member.user.tag, message.author.avatarURL());
message.channel.send(embed)
}
}
In your main bot file you're only passing the message and the args (in this order) to command.execute(). You can add the client too, and update the parameters in your command's code to match this order.
try {
command.execute(message, args, client);
} catch (error) {
...
}
