Unhandled JS Exception: Unexpected token '<' no stack - javascript

I started facing an issue with running my react native application in iOS device
Unhandled JS Exception: Unexpected Token '<' no stack
This started happening after i generated the main.jsbundle in react native application using the below curl command
curl http://localhost:8081/index.ios.bundle -o main.jsbundle
and added this file in xcode project. This seems to like an issue with parsing of the main.jsbundle file which i added in react-native.
Prior to the above process i tried running the application with localhost:8081 for finding the jsbundle but doesn't help me for ios devices. Code in my develop branch is working fine, but same develop code in my feature branch doesn't work with main.jsbundle.
Did anyone faced similar issue with running react native code in iOS devices.

The response you're getting is most likely in HTML format, which starts with a <. When you try to parse this response (presumably with res.json()) an exception is thrown, because a json string cannot start with a <
Try debugging your program and check exactly what the response you're getting is

SyntaxError: Unexpected token in JSON at position 0 in meteor

I am getting an error when running meteor.js. This is the following error:
PS C:\Users\ketan\Documents\Meteor> meteor run

I can't understand the error. Please tell me the solution for this.
Note: My laptop shut down in the previous session of the meteor.
The Solution
How I ultimately ended up fixing this was just by re-cloning the repository I was working on from GitHub - after this, my application ran fine.
NOTE: I've edited this answer because I originally thought Jankaput's answer worked for me, but after digging a little further I found that it didn't.
More Info
I ran into the same problem after a shutdown while a previous Meteor process was running.
For me, running meteor reset and re-installing node_modules seemed to prevent the mentioned error from happening, but when I ran the application, I noticed odd behavior from several different sections of the application (i.e. certain packages wouldn't work, some methods that normally run fine on startup threw errors, etc.)
This makes me think that some sort of project setting was corrupted due to the meteor server I was running ending abnormally when I force shut down my computer. I'm not sure why whatever setting was corrupted managed to stay that way across a meteor reset (since meteor --help specifies that it 'Resets the project state'), but the fact that a re-cloning work makes me think that it did.
Due to the fact that it seems like running meteor reset could allow some corrupted project settings to fly under the radar after this issue pops up, I personally feel that it's probably just best to re-clone your project if this happens to you, just to be sure that nothing about the project is corrupted.
This appears to me that you have a syntax error in a JSON file that is being read by the Meteor build tool. Do you have a settings.json file in use in your project? If so, check for trailing commas or keys missing double quotes as these are the most common errors introduced to a JSON file.

Getting EISDIR error from NodeJS when attempting to start app via Expo (React Native)

I'm getting the old 'directory is not a file' error with Node, and the output does not make it clear what exactly it's trying to parse. I've tried putting logging in and everything to find the issue, and even created a brand new project but the issue persists. Can anyone shed any light on this?

The problem turned out to be that some of the versions of modules that I installed using npm were not compatible with expo. These were indicated earlier than the error in the output for the 'expo start' command. Because these were info logs, I didn't pay enough attention to them. However, after several hours I decided to fix them and it fixed my problem.
The fix was to follow each individual package named in the output and run 'expo install '.
Make sure the entryPoint key in your app.config.js or app.json file is correctly set.
I had an intermittent error very similar to this and it was related to a bug with remote debugging.
Turning off "Debug Remote JS" in the Expo Go app shake-to-show developer menu avoided this issue for me (logs and errors still show in the Metro console).
Here's the exact error message I was getting (and sometimes the app would just fail silently without any error). It's almost identical to the error in the question with a few different line numbers (maybe from different versions).
Error: EISDIR: illegal operation on a directory, read
at Object.readSync (node:fs:721:3)
at tryReadSync (node:fs:431:20)
at Object.readFileSync (node:fs:477:19)

As for "why", there's some related discussion on this expo forum thread which in turn links to this React Native bug (claimed to be fixed in Expo CLI 4.13.1 but many users reporting similar issues in recent versions).
It might be related to the reported issues with Reanimated 2 and Expo's remote debugging (see this reanimated issue and the warning note in Expo's documentation) for Reanimated.

Can't get out of the Visual Studio 2019 sandbox to access LAN

I’m using Visual Studio 2019 to develop a Taskpane for Excel to download sensor data to a spreadsheet. I’m obtaining the data over Wi-Fi via an ESP8266 TCP socket server module which is a node on my LAN(thus the URL 192.168.0.7:81). The html and Javascript work fine in Internet Explorer(IE). There is no password or LAN SSID involved.
The Javascript builds fine in VS2019 but immediately fails in debug.
Javascript:
Home.js contains:
line 8 - var connection = new WebSocket(‘ws://’ + ‘192.168.0.7’ + ‘:81/’, [‘arduino’]);
Upon Debug:
Build Succeeded with 0 Errors
'iexplore.exe' (Script): Loaded 'Script Code (Windows Internet Explorer)'.

The program '[2236] EXCEL.EXE' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The program '[10844] iexplore.exe' has exited with code 1 (0x1).
I’ve looked everywhere for explanations of the 0x800a139e SecurityError but found nothing that helped solve the problem.
It appears to be a general JS syntax error but the code works fine in IE and IE is the selected browser in VS2019. Running Code Analysis shows no errors with the JS. Note: I'm using straight JS for this not jquery because, as I understand it, jquery is simply a library that converts to JS for compilation and I have no clue how this line would be constructed in jquery.
Also, if I use Tools/Connect to Server it cannot find 192.168.0.7. Is this because it only looks for sql servers or because I have a VS2019 configuration problem?
This is most frustrating due to lack of specific error definition.
Thanks

Webpack + React and Google Chrome 43.0.2357.65

After updating Google Chrome (v. >= 43.0.2357.65) error was displayed in console: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token function in different places of my bundle.js.
It appears only when bundle.js returns 200 http status. But after refresh page this file returns 304 http status and all works fine without errors. I'm using webpack v.1.8.5 and React v.0.13.2
In other browsers code works fine, and in Google Chrome before update it works fine.
See this Chrome issue and this related Twitter conversation from the person who filed it.
If you're using an older version of Node.js in your build, updating it might fix this. From the issue:
broken.js was the result of a build script running in Node.js 0.10.18, which seems to have written the file with some peculiar character encoding issues

What is a V8Exception error?

I'm not sure what this error is coming from, nor what it is or what it means. Here is the error I get:

Now, I am creating an HTML 5 Cross platform (Android/iOS) application using Titanium Studio IDE. I'm not sure if this is an Android specific error or a Titanium Studio specific error. I know it can't be iOS because I only get this error when I am trying to test the app on Android tablet. (The app installs and runs on the device though).
NOTE: The code I am working on is proprietary so I can't show it. But what I'm mostly interested in an explanation of this error. Generally, What is this error and when does some one come across it?
