I'm trying to create an application that lets the user place an order from the menu. My problem is When the user hovers the mouse over one of the images in the menu, another image should be displayed with the description and price of the item. The id attribute of each image identifies the image to be displayed when it’s rolled over. I tired to manged the first image to flip and show the description and price but the problem is when you click on the first box it does not show the price on the order box and the image is not showing either
$(function(){
//declare prices and varaibles
var item1 = $("#item1");
item1.val(7.99);
var item2 = $("#item2");
item2.val(1.99);
var item3 = $("#item3");
item3.val(9.99);
var item4 = $("#item4");
item4.val(12.99);
var item5 = $("#item5");
item5.val(17.99);
var item6 = $("#item6");
item6.val(3.99);
var Total = $("#Total");
var Amount = 0;
//onclick
var item = $(".item");
var txtArea = $("#txtArea");
var orderList = "";
//Events
item.click(function(event){
Amount+=parseFloat($(event.target).val());
orderList+=parseFloat($(event.target).val())+"$ -"+event.target.id +"\n";
txtArea.val(orderList);
Total.html("Total: "+Amount.toFixed(2)+"$");
});
//Events
item.hover(function(){

$(event.target).addClass("dark");
}, function(){
$(event.target).text("");
$(event.target).removeClass("dark");

var ClearOrder = $("#ClearOrder");

UPDATE 1
OP modified question to reflect actual requirements.
New answer:
all your .items need to look like the first .flip-card.
you are combing some previous try (items) with a new try (flipcard) but forgot to properly adjust the CSS and the JS to reflect the changes. I changes the item eventlistener to work with flipcard and flipcard ONLY.
modified second <h1> in the flipcard, <h1 id="item1">
Modified the calculations in the flipcard.onclick to show the amounts
The code of this answer is from your codepen modified with my changes.
UPDATE 2
Major HTML change: turned all items into flipcards. One of the problems was that you assigned values to elements that cannot have values. jQuery val() function only operates on elements that can have values like <input>
removed all references to item from CSS
UPDATE 3
Fixed NaN problem, flipcard child elements needed to ignore click event (CSS), as JS got the wrong element reference. CSS and JS corrected. Also added .price in HTML for JS to easily find the price tag.
Leaving finetuning and this 'n thats to you...
$(function() {
//declare prices and varaibles
var item1 = $("#item1");
item1.val(7.99);
var item2 = $("#item2");
item2.val(1.99);
var item3 = $("#item3");
item3.val(9.99);
var item4 = $("#item4");
item4.val(12.99);
var item5 = $("#item5");

var item6 = $("#item6");
item6.val(3.99);

// onclick, CHANGED
// Events, CHANGED
$(".flip-card").click(function(event) {
var priceTag = $(event.target).find('.price');
var price = Number(priceTag.val());
Amount += price;
orderList += price + "$ - " + priceTag[0].id + "\n";
txtArea.text(orderList);
// Only round the final value
Total.html("Total: " + Amount.toFixed(2) + "$");
});
//Clear Button
var ClearOrder = $("#ClearOrder");

I am trying to get the values from the two input boxes below the "Welcome to Discussion Portal" i.e. input boxes with the ids "textarea_text" and "id2"
and put these values on the left side two made tags i.e. h2 tag and p tag with the ids "addh2_in_col1" and "addp_in_col1"
The values are getting added but,
the problem is that they keep getting updated every time i click the submit button.
I want all the the values keep getting added to there
Here is my code:

I am 95% of the way done with what I would like to have this webpage do. On this page I am looking to have my search bar filter the boxed options and fill them towards the top left. Right now, the boxes filter correctly and fill upwards (not quite sure why they filter upwards), but they don't fill upwards AND to the left. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Note: The snippet runs, but there is no container for the boxes where as squarespace naturally makes these.
function search_topics() {
let input = document.getElementById('searchbar').value
input = input.toLowerCase();
let x = document.getElementsByClassName('text');
let y = document.getElementsByClassName('overlay-image _b1')

y[i].style.display = "none";

Your items move upward because the rows above are emptied of displayed content, allowing them to collapse. They don't move to the left because there are still table cells there. The problem you're having is that you're using a table to do work that tables were not designed to do. Css has a tool to do what you want called flexbox. Here's an example: https://codesandbox.io/s/tender-sky-9yyxf
<body>
<input id="search" type="text" placeholder="search"></input>

<div value="cinnamon">Cinnamon</div>
</div>
<script src="src/index.js"></script>
</body>
import "./styles.css";
const search = document.getElementById("search");
if (search) {
search.addEventListener("change", event => {
if (event.target.value) {
// Normalize the search term.
const value = event.target.value.toLowerCase();
console.log(value);

I write a webapp using a swipe.js function to swap between the two pages. Problem is that it that i wont swipe trough the first page, if i remove the html code to the first page it will swipe back and forth without problems between the two pages. I cant load the second page when the first page is on. Anyone who knows what the problem could be?

You got your markup mixed up quite a tad there. There's multiple <head> and <body> tags while the standard only allows one of each.
An HTML 4 document is composed of three parts:
a line containing HTML version information,
a declarative header section (delimited by the HEAD element),
a body, which contains the document's actual content. The body may be implemented by the BODY element or the FRAMESET element.
You will need to reduce your code to a valid HTML document to make this work. It looks like you copied the source of multiple individual files into one, you have to combine the different elements, though.
Start off with the basic HTML structure
Copy all elements from the individual headparts into the <head>
Copy all <style> tags to the <head>
Copy all markup of each individual page into the <body> element
Copy all <script> tags to the <body>
While you do this, make sure to get rid of redundant code. The style tags look fairly close to each other, for example.
I'm working on palette board project and struggling when changing to different theme.
Initial page will have Warm color palette, but I want to change this after clicking All theme.
Users will have options to choose different theme if you tap the dropdown menu just like the image I posted.
Below you will find images that I imagine.

it can be implemented by using Jquery click and addClass.
https://api.jquery.com/click/
https://api.jquery.com/addclass/
http://api.jquery.com/toggleclass/
after clicking modal item, the written jquery should add or change top div's class.
like
<div class'board-pages [theme]'>
... content
</div>
[theme] and its children's css should be defined as well.
or this solution could be another option
Replacing css file on the fly (and apply the new style to the page)
I am going to add dynamically elements to my block of ul.
I would like to center all list's elements to parent div(brown boder).
For example,
if the resolution of the browser allows you to set two blocks in one row, I would like to center this row in relation to parent div.
I would be very graftefully.

You can use the CSS flexbox to achieve this. Here is a link to a complete guide on how to use flexbox. I hope this helps.
https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/a-guide-to-flexbox/
Add this lines:
CSS
#wybor_terminu ul {
list-style-type: none;
overflow: hidden;
/*NEW*/
padding: 0;
width: 100%;
}
#wybor_terminu ul li {
width: 200px;
height: 200px;
text-align: center;
color: blue;
border: 0.2em solid green;
/*float: left; You don't need this line*/
cursor: pointer;
/*NEW*/
margin:auto;
margin-top: 40px;
}
EDIT
This is only a quick solution with bootstrap maybe it could help you a little bit. jsfiddle
jQuery
In this line I added bootstrap classes:
$('#godziny').append('<li class="godzina col-sm-12 col-md-6">' + tab[i] + '</li>');
This code center your boxes (is not the best solution, but it works):
countBoxes = $('#godziny').width() / 200;
alignBoxes = ($('#godziny').width()-(200*parseInt(countBoxes)))/2;
if(countBoxes >= 2.65){
$('#godziny').css('margin-left', alignBoxes);
} else{
$('#godziny').css('margin-left', 0);
}
If you change the resolution of your screen, click the button to center your boxes again.
