React native maps Execution failed for task ':react-native-maps:checkDebugManifest' - javascript

The maps library works fine in a old project with react native where react-native version is 0.55.3 and react native maps is 0.23.0
In a new project after setting up, Android that is, while building the app I keep getting the following error:
info JS server already running.
info Building and installing the app on the device (cd android && ./gradlew app:installAgroShopDebug)...
> Configure project :app
WARNING: API 'variant.getAssemble()' is obsolete and has been replaced with 'variant.getAssembleProvider()'.
It will be removed at the end of 2019.
For more information, see https://d.android.com/r/tools/task-configuration-avoidance.
To determine what is calling variant.getAssemble(), use -Pandroid.debug.obsoleteApi=true on the command line to display more information.

Help would be very much appreciated.

I faced a similar issue when I upgraded react-native. Strangely I fixed it by running metro with sudo

Please help me. My React Native app is not running in my mobile. It works fine on the android simulator, but the performance is quiet bad.

Try React Native environment to upgrade your environment because there is a thread in here Grovy Error
It's simple , just connect your mobile with Android studio and on the developing mode , then select the device from Android studio and run the project the app will simply open on your phone , unless you don't have any errors in enviornment.

React Native, why react-native run-android not working?

I'm trying to run react native run-android after I update my project file, but whenever I run react-native it throws an error. When I created that project and that command it worked fine but when I edit and add some files like apps/redux, apps/components, screens etc it stopped working. Can anyone tell me why it's not working?

you either need to create a virtual device or connect a physical device with USB debuging enabled (https://developer.android.com/studio/debug/dev-options).
To create a virtual device, open android studio and select AVD manager from Configure menu and create a new virtual device downloading required packages.
In case you are using a virtual device with Android studio then try to manually run the emulator BEFORE react-native run-android.
(open android studio > Tools > AVD Manager > Create Virtual Device)

Or repeat the official installation guide:

Could not resolve all task dependencies for configuration ':app:debugRuntimeClasspath'

I am developing a mobile app with using react-native on WebStorm and trying to test it via an Android emulator(Pixel API 28) which I created via using AVD Manager of Android Studio. The problem is when I run the react-native run-android command, I get the following error:
Could not determine the dependencies of task ':app:preDebugBuild'.

I tried to clean up the cache with using the command below but it did not worked:
npm cache clean --force
I could not find some similar problems on the web and I am not sure what to show related with this problem.
When I try to run one of my previous project which was perfectly running, after getting this error and I saw that it also throws the same error. Similarly, when I create a new react-native project and try to run it, then I also got the same error. How can I solve this?
I am still loking for a solution. Anyone knows how to solve it?
I finally figured out the problem. I was connecting to internet via my school's network and it was restricting some downloads. So, that is why I got this error. For the ones who encountered with the same error, try to connect to the link in the error to if it is forbidden or not.

Service Worker not working with create-react-app

I'm using create-react-app for generating a react.js project. It automatically implements a service-worker for progressive web app funtionality if a production build was made by using the command npm run build.
Two weeks ago everything worked fine and I was able to cache all files with the generated service-worker. But since today I always get errors:
On Chrome: Uncaught (in promise) Error: Request for http://localhost:5000/index.html?_sw-precache=aee80fca0f83208cc4d82ae2ccfda3c1 returned a response with status 301 at service-worker.js:1.
On Firefox: Service worker event waitUntil() was passed a promise that rejected with 'TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.'.
I have absolutely not idea why the error occurs.
Even if I create a new app and don't touch any of the generated files, the error shows up in the browsers console.
Steps to reproduce:
npx create-react-app my-app
cd my-app
npm run build
serve -s build
open app in browser
I tested it on two separate machines but get the same result. Any help is very appreciated.
Edit:
Console output after running npm run build:
C:PATH-TO-PROJECT>npm run build

The project was built assuming it is hosted at the server root.
You can control this with the homepage field in your package.json.
For example, add this to build it for GitHub Pages:
"homepage" : "http://myname.github.io/myapp",
The build folder is ready to be deployed.
You may serve it with a static server:
serve -s build

I had the same issue with a VueJS app I created by using the PWA template of Vue. What did the trick for me was updating to the latest version of vue-cli and serve.
Updating to the latest serve version (8.1.4) probably solved my problem.
