Im tring to understand why I can't print text on draw.io using Internet Explorer 11.
Basically what I do is creating a rectangle and double click on it to insert some text.
After that I go into [ File -> Print -> Preview ] , a new tab appears but the text is gone.
The debug shows nothing and there is no such error on Chrome , I really dont know what to do, hope someone can help me.
As this is not a development issue, it is better if you consult the website developers for a user support.
As an alternative, you can try to add the site to the compatibility view settings.
After that it will show you the text in print preview.
Note that adding this site to compatibility view list may create other issues.
Other way is to Export your drawing as an image or PDF using the Export option from this site.
It will export the drawing as it is than you can try to print it. It may help to solve your issue.
This is the exported image.
I don't believe this is a question suited for Stackoverflow as your best bet would be to contact the site developers.

The current project I am working on builds a page's javascript code based on some conditions. All the code works but when I go to the Developer Tools to see it, it is not showing. Or more like it is truncated and 3 dots added at the end.
It seems to be a change with the recent update. It is extremely annoying to not be able to see everything. Does anyone know how to make it show everything? If it helps, I'm working on a mac. Thanks.
Chrome Version 42.0.2311.152 (64-bit)
If you right click on the <script> tag and select "Edit as HTML", you'll be able to access the whole script, without the hyphenation.
I need to disable fullscreen message ("you've gone fullscreen") coming on the top when chrome fullscreen mode is activated .
i need to do it through javascript . but it's one of the default functionality of chrome.
can any one help me out ?
It's not possible. As you pointed you it's one of the default functionality of chrome.
and I agree with the comment by mic You can't it's there for security
That message is, if you it can be disabled at all, likely a user preference. I have had my fair share of changing that kind of things for a custom "layer" over windows with an integrated browser and I can tell you it's impossible with javascript without some listener app. We created a C# listener app for that kind of thing that keeps checking a certain text file. We made javascript edit the text file and then let C# work it's hacking magic in some of the user's settings.
You could take a look at Chromium, the stripped down version of Chrome, if that would be of any help ;)
ps: To all the people going mental over changing user settings like that, our customers were old people that were unable to use a computer, and our application's purpose was to do as much as possible for them.
You cannot possibly do that as suggested by these links.

On the other note, why exactly would you want to do that?
I've put up a code for commenting box on my html file for the visitors to comment on something in my website, and the code is provided from a website that offers it for free.
The problem is, the commenting box is visible and functions perfectly on Internet Explorer, but in Google Chrome Browser, or FireFox Browser, the commenting box doesn't even appear on the screen. When i view source by right-clicking, the code is still there, but does not show on the screen, and I think something is wrong with the code.
I have tried to fix this myself, and I could not figure this out alone.
Here is the code that was provided from the free commenting box website.
<div class="js-kit-comments" backwards="yes" paginate="10"></div>
<script src="http://js-kit.com/comments.js"></script>
I wish i could provide more code, but honestly, this is basically it.
I really hope you guys can help me out on this one. Thank you in advance.
The big js code isn't made to be compatible.
First line :
try { if(!window.JSK$EPB && navigator.appVersion.match(/[345]\.[.0-9 ]+Safari/)) {
This is not the task of SO to adapt and/or debug a big proprietary script in the blind.
I'd like to use Javascript (or perhaps some more suitable script?) to open an HTML file in Text Edit (I'm on a mac)
I have a local web page made using Text Edit with different tabs that link to more Text Edit files on the page.
I'd like some way of quickly opening the tabs in Text Edit from my browser, then I could edit the HTML files easily in Text Edit and when I refresh the browser it will display my newly edited tab.
Pretty sure this should be simple but I'm a total beginner at Javascript and apart from going through the W3Schools tutorials, I have no knowledge of JScript per se.
Thank you for any help with this in advance.
I don't think TextEdit has a web listener of that sort, like Twitter for Mac has for Safari. I think you would need AppleScript to be able to do this, and that would only be on your local machine.
...wat? Just get a good text editor. I recommend Sublime Text 2 or Espresso.
Well i'm currently developping my Toolbar for Google Chrome as a Extension. The main principe is that i'm all the time injecting the toolbar as an iframe by using the Content Script.
But now i see a couple of bug with gmail, google map/search, pdf an maybe other that i've not yet see...
Let me explain, when i go on gmail, i don't see my toolbar at all...
When i open Google, it seems really normal :
But then when i start a search my toolbar seems to overide the top link (web, images, videos, maps,...) I can't click on them anymore...
Next problem is when i'm trying to go on google map or trying to open a PDF, it seems to give the same css to these web pages from my toolbar...
Google Maps :
PDF :
Hope i where clear enough, do not hesitate to ask me question if necessary ;)
Why don't you use absolute/fixed positioning and style attributes? Using style attributes would remove the issue of the possible spread of CSS.
To remove the toolbar from pdf, you could write something that removes the element when on pdf?
Well, i've find a good solution to resolve the problem with PDF and Google Map it was a problem on my CSS.
About the google Search now it works perfectly by setting the body webpage as a fixed page like NeXXeus tell me but there is still a problem.

EDIT : We don't really see, the argument select/deselect is top: 0px;
