unexpected closing tag angular error - javascript

Writing an angular app in bulma, copied the template directly from the template site for testing and I get this error. I have checked and checked and everything is closed properly, yet somehow I keep getting an unclosed nav error. Oddly enough when I delete the closing nav tag, the site compiles correctly, but is broken. I have no idea what to do.
Code

in my case I was forgetting a detail in the tag
<button class="btn btn-primary" (click) "handleClickMe()
">Click me !</button>
I forgot to put the "=" in (click)="handleClickMe()

Usually if you see an "Unexpected closing tag <something>" the problem isn't actually with that <something> but rather with an adjacent element that hasn't been properly closed. Paste stuff here: https://validator.w3.org or any similar HTML validator service, or use a better editor/IDE that offers syntax highlighting to help you find these errors.
You are missing a closing </div> tag.
You close navbar-brand, navbar-menu and navbar-end but you do not close <div class='container'>
As this missing </div> tag ought to be directly before </nav>, you get the error telling you, in fact, exactly where you ought to look. "I found a </nav> I wasn't expecting to see!" ... Ok, so go look at wherever you have a </nav> and figure out what element nearby is missing or has typos, etc.

Adding for future reference, for Angular
I've also seen this where you have invalid html like this
<p>
<div>
</div>
</p>
Change the p to a div and it'll work

why nextelementsibling return null | dom traversing js

when I click on title ( Title Goes Here) text. I am getting null for nextElementSibling instead of a element...
Edit
you can nest any elements inside an <a> except the following :
<a>
<button>
follow link
<a> and<button> both are invalid..
but I am getting null for a tag.. not for button tag.... I am looking for more clarity and valid source...
if I console log console.log(document.links) .. it's give three HTMLCollection collection...
End Edit
Below Example Code
console.log(document.links)
document.querySelectorAll(".viewAbstractToggleTitle").forEach(function(item) {
item.addEventListener("click", function(e) {
if (e.target.parentElement.classList.contains('viewAbstractToggleTitle')) {
console.log(e.target.parentElement.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling)
console.log(e.target.parentElement.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling);
console.log(e.target.parentElement.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling);
}
})
})
<li style="border-bottom: 1px solid #d6d6d6;margin-bottom:10px;">
<a href="javascript:void(0)">

Your HTML is invalid. You have disallowed things like nested hyperlinks. This means the HTML parser, which is designed to be forgiving in spite of errors, has to come up with a new interpretation of your element tree. Here's what Firefox at least translates it to:
<li style="border-bottom: 1px solid #d6d6d6;margin-bottom:10px;">
<a href="javascript:void(0)">
<span class="viewAbstractToggleTitle" style="display:inline-block;line-height:1.6 !important">
<span style="font-weight: 600;font-size:16px;">
Title Goes Here
</span>
<span> ( 1-10 page )</span>
</span>
<br>
<div class="authors">
<span><i class="fa fa-user" aria-hidden="true"></i>
Author
</span>
<span><i class="fa fa-user" aria-hidden="true"></i>
Author
</span>
</div>
<span>
span tag
</span>
</a>
<a class="inlineBlock" href="" download="">
<i class="fa fa-download" aria-hidden="true"></i> Download PDF</a>
<a class="inlineBlock viewAbstractToggle" href="javascript:void(0)"> <i class="fa fa-eye" aria-hidden="true"></i> View Article</a>
<div class="showTabe sTab">
<div class="tabBox">
<div class="tab">
<label class="label" for="tab1_">Abstract</label>
<label class="label" for="tab2_">Graphical of Author </label>
</div>
<div class="box">
<div class="content"><input id="tab1_"> Description
</div>
<div class="content"><input id="tab2_">
<p>image</p>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<br>
</li>
You can get this information for yourself by copying the HTML from your browser's DOM inspector.
As you can see, the other <a/> elements are not siblings of .viewAbstractToggleTitle. This is because the DOM parser had to insert a closing of your first <a/> element since you cannot nest them.

how to stop iterating my like button inside my post

I am working on a post system with likes where the user can toggle the post`s like I have done everything correctly except the last step, the problem inside my v-for loop I fetch likes table from post-like relation(many to many since likes table has user_id and post_id) but it is iterating my button even when I add a condition look here-> duplicated like button, I have tried many things v-if, v-show I think the problem is with my algorithm I hope someone can fix that for me thanks.
<div class="panel panel-white post panel-shadow" v-for="post in posts" >
<div class="post-heading">
<div class="pull-left image">
<img v-bind:src="'img/profile/' + post.user.photo" class="img-circle avatar" alt="user profile image">
</div>
<div class="pull-left meta">
<div class="title h5">
<b>{{post.user.name}} </b>
made a post.
</div>
<h6 class="text-muted time">{{post.created_at | hour}}</h6>
</div>
</div>
<div class="post-description">
<p>{{post.content}}</p>
<div class="stats">
<button class="btn btn-default stat-item" #click.prevent="addLike(post.id)">
<i class="fa fa-thumbs-o-up" aria-hidden="false" style="color: blue" v-for="(like) in post.likes" v-bind:style="like.user_id===id && like.post_id===post.id?'color: blue;':'color: gray;'" > Like {{post.likes.length}}
</i> <!-- here is the duplicate problem-->
</button>
<a class="btn btn-default stat-item" #click.prevent>
<i class="fa fa-reply-all"> {{post.comments.length}}</i> Comments
</a>
</div>
</div>
<comment-input :post="post" :userId="id" :userPhoto="userPhoto"></comment-input>
<ul class="comments-list" v-for="comment in post.comments?post.comments:''">
<comments :comment="comment" :userId="id" :userPhoto="userPhoto"></comments>
</ul>
</div>
<hr>
</div>
</div>
Don't loop through the button element, try to use a method likedBythisUser to check if the current user liked the post in order to bind it to the button style :
methods:{
likedBythisUser(post,id){
return post.likes.find(like=>{
return like.user_id===id && like.post_id===post.id;
}) // return a boolean value
}
}
template :
<button class="btn btn-default stat-item" #click.prevent="addLike(post.id)">
<i class="fa fa-thumbs-o-up" aria-hidden="false" style="color: blue" bind:style="likedBythisUser(post,id)?'color: blue;':'color: gray;'" > Like {{post.likes.length}}
</i> <!-- here is the duplicate problem-->
</button>

Data-filter showing nothing by default

i have this code and i wanted him to not show anything unless clicking on the div.By default it shows everything listed but i need it to just show things filtered by click. Any ideas?
<section class="our_services_tow">
<div class="container">
<div class="architecture_area services_pages">
<div class="portfolio_filter portfolio_filter_2">
<ul>
<li data-filter=".enc"><i class="fa fa-archive" aria-hidden="true"></i>ENCOMENDAS</li>

<div class="single_facilities col-sm-7 format">
<div class="who_we_area">
<div class="subtittle">
<h2>PreferĂȘncia de formatos de ficheiro.</h2>
</div>
<p>blablabla</p>
<p>blablabla</p>
</div>
</div>
make the div hidden using css so it would load up hidden, make another div to have onclick() event(why div? you can use a button) to call a JavaScript function and display the div that is hidden using that function

How to get the "id" of moving sortable UIKit 3 element using JavaScript?

I want to know or print which card that is being dragged let's say upon drop and show it in the UIKit notification. I checked the console.log but nothing happens. From the documentation, it is only possible to get even on moving but not to get the value of the element that is being dragged. My code is below.

JS:
UIkit.util.on('#sortable', 'moved', function () {
//console.log();
UIkit.notification('Card has been moved.', 'success');
});
Thanks!
If you modify:
UIkit.util.on('#sortable', 'moved', function () {
//console.log();
UIkit.notification('Card has been moved.', 'success');
});
To be:
UIkit.util.on('#sortable', 'moved', function (item) {
console.log(item.detail[1].id)
UIkit.notification(`Card is ${item.detail[1].id}`, 'success');
});
It will display the elements id in the notification. You can go higher up in the "item" object in order to get more information on the dropped element.
Also, I'm using a template literal here to put the id in the notification. That's not supported via IE 11 so you might want to do something more traditional if you care about that.
For reference, you can see the data captured when moving elements via developer console here:
https://getuikit.com/assets/uikit/tests/sortable.html

Handlebar content dynamic

I have the code below that should display the chat window when I click on the user name in <li>
Code <ul> which contains the User list and received the click
<ul class="chat-contacts">
<li class="online" data-user-id="USERCODE">
<a href="#">
<div class="media">
<div class="media-body">
<div class="contact-name">USERNAME</div>
</div>
</div>
</a>
</li>
</ul>
This is the chat window code. If I put a static content of the <ul> window appears, however when I feed the the <ul> with content dynamic the click does not work. Can someone help me??
<script id="chat-window-template" type="text/x-handlebars-template">
<div class="panel panel-default">
<div class="panel-heading" data-toggle="chat-collapse" data-target="#chat-bill">
<i class="fa fa-times"></i>
<a href="#">
<span class="pull-left">
<img src="{{ user_image }}" width="40">
</span>
<span class="contact-name">{{user}}</span>
</a>
</div>
<div class="panel-body" id="chat-bill">
</div>
<form id="messageForm">
<input id="nameInput" type="hidden" class="input-medium" value="Macbook" />
<input id="messageInput" type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="Digite uma mensagem" />
</form>
</div>
</script>
Your click event is not working. The event doesn't know the element exists.
This can happen when using jQuery('.chat-contacts li').click(function(){// do something})
I would try setting the click event with this:
jQuery(document).on('click', '.chat-contacts li', function(){
});
Setting the event with on will force jQuery to scan for new elements in the list.
