is it possiable to format the vaxis in google chart to arabic-indic
this is the officially documentation :
Google chart
however i looked through the whole documentation i did not find anything
i have no problem with xaxis the problem with vertical , i need them in format like ١،٢،٣...
There is a solution, but you'll have to use an undocumented feature, which will be documented at some point. You'll need to make this call sometime before you draw your chart.
google.visualization.NumberFormat.useNativeCharactersIfAvailable(true);
This works with material charts prior to v46, and also in classic charts starting with v46. See this example: https://jsfiddle.net/dlaliberte/6k8vdgz7/
You may see some problems depending on what formatting options you also specify.

I tried using apex charts, but did not find proper doc for the react-apexcharts. I also tried react-google-charts, although it works fine, but it has unwanted spaces on sides which spoils the layout. I'm not sure about which module to use. Do you have a suggestion??
Author of ApexCharts here.
Thanks for reminding me to update the docs for the candlestick charts.
Here is the page that explains what should be the data-format.
Also, there is no major difference in options if you use react-apexcharts. The series prop should be given the required format as specified in the docs and rest will fall into places.
For those who are still asking which library to use for candlestick graphs.
Take a look Highcharts Highcharts candlestick graph
Good documentation and great features
I am trying to make a dynamic graph something like as below:
Y-axis gives no. of users and x axis date range(For continuous graph )
x axis gives release of an algo on that date.(For discontinued graph)
I tried combined charts of highchart this and looked in google charts library.
Is there any way by how i can either directly generate a similar chart or merge two chart types in to one? Preferably using high charts or google graphs.
I guess we can merge two highcharts in to one but I am not very sure about it, also if we can Iam not sure how to do that.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I am aware that you said "Preferably using high charts or google graphs", but I want to point out that this can be done very easily in C3.js using the "types" parameter to specify the graph type for each data item.
Demo: http://c3js.org/samples/chart_combination.html
I would suggest using plot bands to indicate release dates and types. You can dynamically add them using the addPlotBand() method (see http://api.highcharts.com/highcharts#Axis.addPlotBand). They would then overlay your "run of the mill" line chart showing number of users over time.
Assuming you have data that can distinguish between the release types, you could write code that adds a plot band of the desired color at the specific points on the x-axis.
I'd suggest making the plot bands have a from and to value thin enough (say, one interval or one date's worth) so it shows up as the thin stripes in your example.
You'd need to add a manual legend to show users what those colors mean, since plot bands wouldn't automatically show up in a Highcharts legend.
I hope this helps!
I need to make line charts and column charts for cricket run rate, wickets etc. and due to some extra requirement I am unable to use the libraries available on internet like google charts, highchart etc.
Some of the requirements are:
show more than 1 circle on line/column chart if more than 1 wickets falls in an over, something like the image below
different color of each bar
I have searched on google but couldnt find any ready to use libraries like this
and before I decide to draw custom charts I wanted to confirm if there is any library available where I can do these custom changes and if not then I need suggestion if I can draw them in HTML5 or what do you think would be the best approach.
It sound like you want to take a look at Chart.js. I've used it on several occasions, and it's a good tool for making charts with HTML5 and JavaScript. It gives you a wide variety of different charts to choose from without having to custom code a whole bunch of stuff. And they look nice as well.
The examples in the documentation are very descriptive, and the default example includes a bar-chart that has alternating colors, matching that of your example pictures.
I am evaluating to change the graphics I generated so far using highcharts.js to d3.js
just for fun and I want to learn how d3.js works.
I wonder if there is something similar to the url below (see if you click on a pie it gives you new data), something dynamic and ready to use (or not to implement from zero).
What I wanna achieve, more or less...

thanks in advance

If you want to replace Highcharts, I think the only good open-source alternative available at the moment is Bob Monteverde's Novus charts library: http://novus.github.com/nvd3/. NVD3 has a nice pie chart and also has good legends. Take a look at all the charts from this library and you will see what I mean. You can also find a good pie chart in Stephen Boak's tutorial: http://blog.stephenboak.com/2011/08/07/easy-as-a-pie.html. Another interesting option is to look for Frank Guerino's questions on the D3 js google group. I would use NVD3 if I were you. It might need some adjustments, but it seems to be the best option currently. Good luck!
Simple function to generate Pie Charts utilisiing d3.js. This function is part of the http://xhprof.io/ project. It is able to handle datasets of arbitrary size. It has several options that allow for customisation, such as the label margin, circle radius and visibility of the percentage data (refer to the source code).
The demo is available at https://dev.anuary.com/858b33b7-bd66-507b-a9f1-533e4de79ba3/. The source code is available at https://github.com/gajus/pie-chart.
I have a feature where we have to compare multiple series. I have implemented the same with Highcharts but when I looked at highstocks compare i was pretty much impressed by the way it is doing. Can we extend the same features in Highcharts.
You can use the tooltip formatter to create a tooltip with the format
series.name: series.values[x] for point x, and loop that over each series in the chart. That should create the effect you want.
Highstock is also an extension of highcharts, and you should be able to swap it in for your highcharts code without any compatibility issues if you're willing to pay extra to use it or are using it for non-commercial purposes.
I don't know if it's possible to extend, but you can do the same using tooltip formatter.
