Intel xdk daemon with intel galileo gen2 - javascript

I am trying working on Intel Galileo Gen 2 with Intel XDK and successfully connected galileo gen 2 with XDK manually over ethernet as its not detecting board, i have installed bonjour also.
I have also created new project without any error but when I am uploading the code its showing error that daemon is old please install least version 0.1.3. When i am trying to upgrade its showing another error I have attached the snapshot of the error.
I have tried all the methods like restarting the system board, uninstalling the XDK IoT edition and installed new XDK 3641.
I have updated other libraries and restarted the daemon but getting same error.
I have tried checking whether daemon is working or not and found no error.
Only one error i am getting couldn't update daemon
Error: TypeError: Invalid Version: 4.x.x
I am also unable to install Intel system studio following all the steps as mentioned on guide at Intel website. It showing error of
Can't create/start docker machine: Running pre-create checks...
Error with pre-create check: "This computer doesn't have VT-X/AMD-v
enabled. Enabling it in the BIOS is mandatory"
finished with error 3.

Regarding use of your Galileo with the XDK, try downloading and installing version 3759 at http://xdk.intel.com. This is a new update (yesterday) that includes some code to specifically address updating the XDK daemon on IoT target boards. Please let me know if it works.
BTW -- no need to uninstall/reinstall the XDK if this fails. If it fails it is likely something to do with the version of Linux on the Galileo, the network connection or the XDK itself. If it does fail, please report the issue on our forum at https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk

"MongoError: pool destroyed" in NodeRED

We are having windows server on which linux VM is installed.
On windows server we have -
MongoDB 3.6.17 Community Edition /
Node.js v10.19.0
On Linux VM we have installed NodeRed container /
Node.js v16.17.1
As mongoDB and Nodered are in same subnet we are able to establish communication between them.
On linux VM we have installed Azure IoT Edge and Nodered container is running on the top of it.
I am fetching data from MongoDB into NodeRED and then processing it further.
This flow works absolutely fine, however in some cases I am getting this error - "MongoError: pool destroyed".
After this I am not able to fetch data from MongoDB.
Once I Open/Close debug node and deploy the flow it starts to work again.
I'm using:
node-red-node-mongodb (0.2.5)
Can anyone please suggest what might be the root cause for this problem?
Can the differences in Node.js versions in windows and linux create an issue?

expo react-native - disable timeout to metro in tunnel connection

My development environment is in ubuntu on wsl2 with vscode as editor running on windows using the remote wsl extension. I am running it on a physical android device using the Expo Go app using the tunnel connection on the same wifi network.
Everything works fine from scanning the QR Code to editing the code and it auto refreshes everytime I make changes on vscode. The problem is when I became idle(not making changes) for a short time, the connection somehow times out giving the error:
Cannot connect to Metro.
Cannot connect to Metro screenshot
What should be done here? How to disable the timeout if there's a way?

Jenkins + Selenium random unknown server-side error during Karma+Mocha tests

I have CI system. It consists of
Jenkins Master server (version 2.60.2) running on Ubuntu 16.04
Jenkins slaves Swarm Slave (version 3.4.1) running on Ubuntu 16.04
Selenium hub (version 3.4.0) running on Ubuntu 16.04
4 Selenium nodes for Safari Browser (version 3.4.0) Running on Mac OS Siera 10.12.5 .
With Safari 10.
Im testing Java Script project that uses Mocha+Karma to run tests.
Most of the time everything is working as it should.
But sometimes i have error like this one.
{"message":"[get(\"http://my-jenkins-slave-hostname:9876/?id=39481\")] Error response status: 13, UnknownError - An unknown server-side error occurred while processing the command. Selenium error: com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException: Use JsonReader.setLenient(true) to accept malformed JSON at line 1 column 8 path $","status":13,"cause":{"value":{"stacktrace":"com.google.gson.JsonSyntaxException: com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException: Use JsonReader.setLenient...
It looks like some nodes of selenium sometimes fail randomly.
All nodes are exact replicas of same image (Im using Mac Stadium to manage Mac OS nodes)
Ive tried to configure Karma to give more details in logs, ive tried to increase timeouts, but no luck. Error message stays the same.
How can i troubleshoot such problem?
Any ideas?

Can't connect to local Node App

I just started with a little bit MEAN-Magic by following along this tutorial. It was working pretty good (installation and so on). Now I'm stuck at:
STEP 4: Creating an ExpressJS application
I executed express mytestapp, cd mytestapp, npm installand node app.jsand am able to see the folder structure in the Terminal, but if I open Safari with "http://localhost:3000" I get the message
Safari can't Connect To Server... Safari can't open the page "localhost:3000" because Safari can't connect to the server "localhost"
How can I troubleshoot this? I'm totally new to this. (Not sure if this matters, but I'm working from a mac at the moment).

Running Meteor mobile app on physical Android device

I'm having an hard time trying to run my Meteor app on my Android device (LG G2).
I googled for answer and didn't find anything like what I encounter. I followed the instuction and everything went fine, added the Android platform to my project and ran it with meteor run android-device. The device LG G2 is plugged with a USB cable to the machine I'm building and running the app with, and the device has USB debugging enabled. Everything seem to be fine, my terminal indicates:
Started proxy.
Started app on Android Device.
I20150530-16:38:11.280(3)? - waiting for device -
Started MongoDB.
Started your app.
App running at: http://localhost:3000/
No error indication, nothing suspicous, but the app doesn't come up on the device. Nothing happens. Anyone has a clue? I tried to give my own IP and port to the command without a change.
You need to set the USB connexion on your android device as "camera". Whith my s4 mini I had the same symptoms and that was the solution.
I'll list what I've done to solve it, because it's a mix of all the solutions I got here.
I'm using Ubuntu, and LG G2 as device.
I created the /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules. file with
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0bb4", MODE="1004", GROUP="plugdev" inside. (Detailed instructions here on step 3: http://developer.android.com/tools/device.html#setting-up, thank you #ChristianFritz). Pay attention that "1004" is the vendor
ID of LG.
I realised that for some reason I didn't have the ADB on my machine so I couldn't use adb devices and connect with my device. I followed this guide:
http://lifehacker.com/the-easiest-way-to-install-androids-adb-and-fastboot-to-1586992378 to install the missing ADB (linux section).
I got an error: adb server is out of date. killing... which terminated connection between the device to the machine, but after following #yoh advice, I changed my USB connection from MTP to PTP and tried again. This time worked.
Managed to run my app successfully on physical LG G2 after those steps using Ubuntu.
