Jquery Not Synchronized with the DOM - javascript

I found a new problem where when i manipulate the dom using jquery. The dom is not updated.

When Favorite button is clicked, the clickFavoriteButton() will be trigerred, and markfavorite method will be fired next.
The problem is although this.$favorite_button is updated (the class is added to the variable), the dom in the page is not updated
this only happens to dynamically loaded element, and does not happen to element that has been around since the page is loaded.
The PostCard is created in PostList class

When you scroll the page, the retrieveWhenScroll method will be fired and PostCard will be dynamically added

Use onclick on a button to start javascript

Hi there I'm pretty new to using functions and onclick actions to call javascript so I could do with some help. Basically, I've installed a plugin on WordPress which adds a button to the page in the form of a widget and once clicked it starts a script. However, I don't like their button so I'm trying to code my own but I want it to start the script like there's.

Data not binding as it should be after calling ajax with knockoutjs

I have this grid that i am creating using knockoutjs, it works perfectly at first, now i am using a window.location.hash to run another query, it works too and query returns the correct amount of data however when i insert it within the observableArray (which gets inserted correctly as well), the grid doesn't update the data and shows the old data... I'm using removeAll() function on the observableArray as well before inserting new set of data but it wont update my grid, i suspect there is something wrong with the DOM?
I should mention when i reload the page (since the page's url keeps the hash for query) my grid shows the data and works perfectly. for some reason it needs to reload the page and doesn't work without,

Would perhaps be useful to see the HTML binding here as well.
Are there any console errors? Are you sure the new data received isn't the old data, due to some server-side caching etc?
Anyhow, if not any of those:
Are you using deferred updates? If the array size doesn't change, I've seen KO not being able to track the properties of a nested viewmodel, meaning that if the array size haven't changed then it may very well be that it ignores notifying subscribers. You could solve that with

I need help in creating a plugin for rich text editor in Adobe cq 5 to add an image, pdf, video, ppt or any file into rich text editor.
The existing rte plugins that are available are findreplace, undo, spellcheck, table etc
How to create a plugin to add a file to rich text editor?
The plugins are an ext js files. Appreciate if any one can suggest answer. It will be of great help.

I added a custom drop down into my RTE. It was used to add values to the editor on selecting values from it. I think this might help you solve your issue because similarly you can create your required plugin.

How to select all images in the page?

I have this jQuery-script that gives any image or object with tag data-retina="true" a retina-resolution-image or background-image.
But how do I remove the last part from the script so that this function will apply on every image, not just the one with the data-retina tag?

restricting input tags to maximum 5

I have got following jquery tags plugin.
I want to to restrict maxmimum 5 tags, so that user can not enter more than 5 words (separated by spaces).

best way is to count the number of "tag" classes already added, and then you can handle it differently, for example you can prevent showing the "add a tag" input once 5 tags inserted by defining maxTags and updating jQuery.fn.addTag and jQuery.fn.removeTag :
