After 2 years I answer the question ... A little late. Suddenly it can be useful for someone.
I never found the reason why this happened. The only solution was to recreate a project from scratch, and pass the content that it had to the new project. I configured everything and it worked without problems.
I also installed crosswalk, I could have influenced the solution the problem.

I'm creating a website from this template and I've downloaded the template and uploaded it without modifications here.
I have this problem (confirmed by a ticket on templatemonster): on Iphone only (seems like both on safari and chrome), i cannot click on some links (e.g. "view charateristics" on the 4 boats images under "YACHTS FOR SALE".
I tried editing it:
adding a big z-index on the tags
creating a custom section with bootstrap and custom link
using <span> tags with onclick="window.location.href='test.php'"
using a <form> and a <button>
It really seems that the browser does not "catch" the click on the element.
But still, none of them work.
Unluckily, i cannot test on a real phone, but this simulator https://appetize.io/ seems to work pretty well. I did confirm that the problem is also on real devices, thanks to a customer.
I would like to know if anybody knows to fix this issue, without making the template look much different, thanks
EDIT
Here's the page where i'm trying to fix the bug. As you can see the <ontouchstart> is also not working.
I don't know if it would help, but you can also see that the carousel is not working on iphone (not a problem itself, i'm going to hide it).
It's a known Safari Mobile bug, you should add the ontouchstart event handler

I've been scratching my head for the past week and still cannot find a clear answer regarding this issue...
Basically, I'm building a desktop app for screen/desktop/window capturing using Web API's.
Seems that on Mac, mouse cursor does not appear in the stream. Please see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=238434 and
https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/8278
But somehow, a Chrome extension exists and works perfectly fine.
Can someone please explain how to successfully record screen using Web technologies to avoid ffmpeg and native scripts? How did those guys manage to overcome this issue on Mac? Does this issue actually exist?
Thanks.
It seems to be a bug where the cursor is not recorded when external displays are hooked to your device.
In my instance, I've got two monitors hooked to a Macbook Pro.
A workaround is unhooking your displays or setting your displays to mirror.
I haven't been able to test a set up with a Mac Pro or Mini hooked to just one or multiple displays.
I created an issue in the Chromium bug report.
This has been fixed since Chrome 56!
First a little context. I'm a designer from the Netherlands with a love for code. I can find my way pretty ok in html and css and a little bit in php and javascript. I love the Stack Overflow community, it helped me so much and it still helps me every day in becoming a little bit better at coding!
I have never asked a question here at S.O. before, because I always found a way to solve problems, untill now. I literally tried everything and I really hope you guys can help me.
I have a hobby project: https://unboxguide.com
It is some kind of TripAdvisor for CrossFit Boxes (gym boxes).
It is a Wordpress website which uses several different plugins for some functionalities.
The site works perfect on desktop browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc. No problem there.
Then on mobile, still no problem there. On Android with chrome, it works perfect, on iPhone with Safari, still shiny.
But then.... the horror starts.
The Facebook in-app browser. There is something completely weird there. If I post a link to the website on Facebook and you click on it in the Facebook app it will open the Facebook in-app browser. The website renders completely randomly. Sometimes it doesn't load fonts, or any of the layout (css). Sometimes it doesn't even load the images.
Some research taught me that it is some kind of webview of the internal Mobile OS browser. So on iPhone a webview of Safari and Android a webview of Chrome.
I tested the Facebook links on Android, no problems there. The problem only occurs in the Facebook app on iPhone.
If you want to see for yourself, post https://unboxguide.com on your Facebook (just do it privately, so only you can see it) and keep refreshing it. The more you refresh, the more random results you will get. It's so strange.
I've tried so many things: rebuild the whole CSS, killed all plugins, tried different themes and tried to build everything from scratch. I also tried different backups from a few months ago where (I thought) the problem didn't occur yet. Nothing helped.
I really really hope someone has had the same issue or understands the problem, and can help or point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!
PS: If anything is needed furthermore to help you guys figure out what the problem can be, please let me know and I can post more information.
Old question, late answer. If your website uses ajax and uses X-Requested-With header to detect ajax requests (or not) this could be the reason. Webviews most of time use the X-Requested-With header for something else, so your pages are displayed like Ajax results (without css, javascript etc) and not like full html page.
Hope this helps.
I am developing react for my web apps.. Currently im facing some issues that only happening on iOS browser. Everything works well on android browser and desktop browser. Problem such as some content not visible after navigating into another page, cannot typing on textbox. Do u guys have any idea how to fix this? Thank you so much.
for textbox issue you can check if there is -webkit-user-select:none property assigned then remove this property and textboxes will start working as expected
Hope this helps you!
I have created an app with jquery mobile and html5. I created a wp8 package using cordova for the same and have openend the solution with visual studio. The issue I am facing is that the window.location is not working. I have given
window.location.href='home.html#basic' making it redirect to a particular div. I also tried window.location.replace. Using show and hide dive makes the functionality work but many css issues are coming when i use div show and hide. I have gone through many previous questions but still not found any solution. Please help.
