Hi i have to create an Checkbox which is set up in JavaScript Code. For that we are using DOJO in our project. This Checkbox should just be visible for one project so i can't insert on html side. To realise the Checkbox wasn't a problem and also the visability. But i can't set a label which should be next to the Checkbox.
HTML Code:
JavaScript Code:
if (this.createCheckInput)
{
this.checkInput = new CheckBox({
name: "checkBox",
id: "checkId",
value: "agreed",
innerHTML: "Publish", //Label i wan't to create
onChange: lang.hitch(this, function (p)
{
if (p == true) {
this.checkboxChecked = p;
}
})
}, this.publishCheckbox);
}
I Also tried it with another JavaScript Element but there is no DOJO Library I can use i just find the Textarea but the user should not be able to change the text.
JavaScript Code 2:
//create title for checkbox
if (this.createInputLabel)
{
this.showInputLabel = new Textarea ({
value : 'Publish after upload'
},this.publishCheckboxLabel);
}
Thanks for helping :)
Why not simply creating a label element ? why going so complex ?
Using dojo/dom-construct:
domConstruct('label', {innerHTML: 'Publish after upload'}, this.publishCheckboxLabel);

Using aurelia agGrid, I want the table to update automatically as the user types in the filter box. Right now the user has to type in the filter box and click the check-boxes for the table to update. I want the updating to occur without checking the checkboxes. Here's an image:
https://imgur.com/XhaVYkA
I played around with the text filter parameters shown in the link below but I still can't get the auto-updating to work. The demos they provide are properly auto-updating but I'm not sure how. I'm interested to see if anyone can point me to the line of code that's doing this auto-updating.
https://www.ag-grid.com/javascript-grid-filter-text/
this.columnDefs = config.map(c =>
{
return
{
id : c.id,
dataType : c.dataType,
headerName : c.headerName,
filter : true,
filterParams :
{
textFormatter : textEntry => {
return textEntry.toUpperCase();
},
newRowsAction : 'keep'
},
suppressSorting : c.dataType === 'status',
menuTabs : ['filterMenuTab', 'generalMenuTab', 'columnsMenuTab']
};
});
I'm new using kendo grid UI, i'm trying to make a non editable column (when updating) using a simple code :
schema: {
id: 'ID',
fields: {
id: { editable: false }
}
}
This default schema, makes by default non editable id column, and i can't even create a new row with id .
I want to make it non editable (when updating) but i want the possibility to create a row and assign an id from user (when creating).
Any ideas ?
Edit :
PS : the proprety is not related to only id, it can be on every column (can't update but can create)
The editable required a function instead of a value.
columns: [
{ field: 'value', editable: function () { return false; } }
],

I always doubt about that model editable option. It never really worked for me. It should have something very deep in the setup to make it work which I never realized what it. So this is a way to acomplish what you need that I know it indeed works: To cancel the edit event. Check it out:
edit: function(e) {
// Cancels a new row
if (arguments, e.model.isNew()) {
this.cancelRow(e.container.parent());
}
else { // Cancels a cell editing
this.closeCell(e.container);
}
}
Demo
Now, if you like to add a condition in that event based on what you have set in your model, you can access it within event as well:
edit: function(e) {
let currentColumn = this.options.columns[e.container.index()].field,
model = this.dataSource.options.schema.model.fields[currentColumn];
if (model.editable === false) {
// Cancels a new row
if (arguments, e.model.isNew()) {
this.cancelRow(e.container.parent());
}
else { // Cancels a cell editing
this.closeCell(e.container);
}
}
}
Demo
You can add an option yourself in the model to set if the column can be updated or only created, and handle that information inside the event, canceling the editing whenever you like.
This is how I just did it, though there are other ways.
In columns option if you remove the field option from a column it doesn't know from where to bind it.
Then use the template option to show(bind) the id. Thus making it readonly
columns: [
{
title: 'Id', width: "40px",
template: "#= id #",
},
...]
I am developing one custom plugin for the CKEditor 4.7 which do a simple think take in case user select some stuff it will put it in a div with specific class, else it will put a div with same class just with text like 'Add content here'
I try to use some functions according to CKEditor docs but have something really wrong.
here is the code for the plugin folder name=> customdiv, file=> plugin.js
CKEDITOR.plugins.add('customdiv', {
icons: 'smile',
init: function (editor) {
editor.addCommand( 'customdiv',{
exec : function( editor ){
var selection = editor.getSelection();
if(selection.length>0){
selection='<div class="desktop">'+selection+'</div>';
}else{
selection='<div class="desktop">Add your text here </div>';
}
return {
selection
};
}
});
editor.ui.addButton( 'Customdiv',
{
label : 'Custom div',
command : 'customdiv',
toolbar: 'customdiv',
icon : this.path + 'smile.png'
});
if (editor.contextMenu) {
editor.addMenuGroup('divGroup');
editor.addMenuItem('customdiv', {
label: 'Customdiv',
icon: this.path + 'icons/smile.png',
command: 'customdiv',
group: 'divGroup'
});
editor.contextMenu.addListener(function (element) {
if (element.getAscendant('customdiv', true)) {
}
});
}
}
});
According to some docs it have to return the result good.
Also this is how I call them in my config.js file
CKEDITOR.editorConfig = function (config) {
config.extraPlugins = 'templates,customdiv';
config.allowedContent = true;
config.toolbar = 'Custom';
config.toolbar_Custom = [
{ name: 'divGroup', items: [ 'Customdiv' ] },
{name: 'document', items: ['Source', '-', 'Save', 'Preview', '-', 'Newplugin']},
/* MOre plugins options here */
];
};
Note: the official forum was close and moved here :(
UPDATE
I have change the function like this
exec : function( editor ){
var selection = editor.getSelection();
if(selection.length>0){
selection='<div class="desktop">'+selection+'</div>';
CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.insertHtml( selection );
}else{
selection='<div class="desktop">Add your text here </div>';
CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.insertHtml( selection );
}
}
This makes it work for the else part, but still can't get the selected one.
UPDATE 2
After change of the if I can get data if is selected, but when I do insert selected between <div> I face a problem.
var selection = editor.getSelection();
give like result an object, and I funded out a more complex function and I get collected data like this
var selection = editor.getSelection().getNative();
alert(selection);
from this in alert I see the proper selection and not just object,but when I insert it like
CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.insertHtml('<div class="desktop">' + selection + '</div>');
it just put all selected in one line and not adding the div, new div for else case working with this syntax.
UPDATE 3
The problem now is this function
CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.insertHtml('<div>' + selection + '<div>');
it delete all existing HTML tags even if I add just selection without <div> I am not sure if this is because of the way I insert data or way I collect data, just in alert when I collect data I see correct space like in the editor.
user select some stuff it will put it in a div with specific class
If you want to check if selection is not empty, please instead of selection.length>0 try using !selection().getRanges()[0].collapsed.
If you need something more advanced you could also try using
!!CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.getSelection().getSelectedText() to see if any text was selected and !!CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.getSelection().getSelectedElement() to see if any element like e.g. image, tabl,e widget or anchor was selected.
EDIT:
If you need selected HTML please use CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.getSelectedHtml().getHtml();
Please also have a look at CKEditor documentation:

I want an auto increment column in my Kendo Grid. This field isn't server side auto increment, because I want the user to see the value and be able to change it.
My current solution is to add a click attribute to Create button and loop over rows to find the highest value and increment it.
But how can I insert this value inside the newly created row? Click event happens before the new row is created.
So there is two possible solution:
Have a variable as default value and update it in my JS code.
Access the newly created row somehow, and update the value.
This is my JS code:
function createClick(id) {
var grid = $("#" + id).data('kendoGrid');
var highestRadif = 0;
grid.tbody.find('>tr').each(function () {
var dataItem = grid.dataItem(this);
var radif = dataItem.SRadifReqR;
highestRadif = highestRadif < radif ? radif : highestRadif;
})
alert(++highestRadif);
}
You can use Grid's edit event to add your new generatedId value to new Grid's model.
This is some explanation from their documentation:
Edit
fired when the user edits or creates a data item.
e.container jQuery, jQuery object of the edit container element, which wraps the editing UI.
e.model kendo.data.Model, The data item which is going to be edited. Use its isNew method to check if the data item is new
(created) or not (edited).
e.sender kendo.ui.Grid, The widget instance which fired the event.
I suppose your click have something like this
//generate id code
vm.newId = ++highestRadif; // we need to store generated Id
grid.addRow();
then on edit event
edit: function(e) {
var model = e.model; // access edited/newly added model
// model is observable object, use set method to trigger change event
model.set("id", vm.newId);
}
Note: Your schema model's field must set property editable: true, due to enable us to change model field value using set method. Also if your field schema have validation required, you need to remove it.
model: {
id: "ProductID",
fields: {
ProductID: { editable: true, nullable: true },
}
}
Sample
I was able to put a function in the datasource schema for this.
schema: {
model: {
id: "id",
fields: {
currencyType: { defaultValue: getDefaultCurrency },
invoiceDate: { type: "date" }
}
}
}
function getDefaultCurrency() {
return _.find(vm.currencyTypes, { id: vm.currencyId });
};
I've developed web applications with Dojo for more than one year, and I've used dojox grid a lot, but there is no way to add customize buttons on DataGrid or EnhancedGrid, as I know that ExtJS, or EasyUI, jQuery jqgrid are capable doing this.
So I want to ask if there is any way that can add buttons or other HTML DOM in the dojox.DataGrid?
at least, you can add dojo.form.Button's to it. simly add an element to the structure-property of your DataGrid like that (sorry, due to no-time i just copy pasted it from an actual project of mine...):
{
name: ' ',
field: 'idx',
type: dojox.grid.cells._Widget,
editable: false,
formatter: function (idx) {
return new dijit.form.Button({
_destroyOnRemove: true,
label: 'Bearbeiten',
onClick: function () {
dojo.byId('clickedItemIdx').value = idx + '';
if (reports.entries[idx].type == 'Rufbereitschaft') {
dojo.byId('addOrEditEntry_OCD_btn').click();
} else {
dojo.byId('addOrEditEntry_ASS_btn').click();
}
}
});
}
},
note that my data contains an idx-field which i commit to the onclick-function in order to know which element was clicked. This is the only way i got this to work.
As you may know, you can add multiple of those structure-elements referring to the same field.
