I have successfully installed CKEditor. Now I am trying to add locationmap plugin.
First: I tried to add it like it says.
config.locationMapPath = 'path';
I also added this with the path of the googlemap.html however when I click on the icon
Second: I tried setting the global base path variable because my idea is that this is a path issue.
window.CKEDITOR_BASEPATH = "http://www.partymag.org/ckeditor/";
However when I set the basepath it show this error on the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'ltr' of undefined
I searched oline for solution and none of them solved this. Here is what I have tried:
Clearing the cache, I have done this multiple times, tried different browsers, heck I even uploaded my source to server and tried on different computers but same error.
Setting the language, I seen this solution couple of times online. I added the line
config.language = 'en'
I have downloaded the latest ckeditor without having a previous version. I tried deleting ckeditor files and re-adding them. I probably tried a lot of things. Things I don't remember. But I have been stuck with this for two days. Please any suggestion might help.
Regards.

This strange issue causes me big trouble on saving the changes. Git thus always displays everything changed.
I tried to remove and create a new branch, but it doesn't work.
I also tried the ans from:
Stackoverflow question: diff returning entire file for identical files.
(Though I am quite sure I didn't use unix to edit this file.)
However, the same situation still occurs.
Any suggestion to fix it?
I am using the latest version of Meteor js. I am a newbie and couldn't find the solution. I have surfed for this problem a lot.
Before going to the problem, please have look at the directory structure first.
My directory structure of the project is like this :
\client
\main.html
\main.css
\main.js
\imports
\lib
\todos
\todos.js
\server
\main.js
I have created a Mongo Object in todos.js.
export const Todos = new Mongo.Collections('todos');
This is working fine.
Now in client\main.js, I am importing this object,
import { Todos } from '\imports\lib\todos\todos.js';
Note: I tried relative and absolute both type of addressing.
I put a debugger after that and checked and the variable is there. I can access that variable on the console. But as soon as I pass the statement and all the code is rendered on the browser(google chrome), I am not able to use Todos. It is giving me a ReferenceError. The error is
Todos is not defined.
I know there is no problem till the browser is loading because I checked that. I have surfed a lot. Please help me.
Thank you in advance.
Edit 1: I am using windows 7 if that is necessary.
As the comments above said, variables declared or imported in a file/module don't end up on the developers console.
What you can do to get stuff on the console is import it to the console using require
> require('/imports/lib/todos/todos.js')
Any valid absolute path or package will work here
Note: the path separators are always *nix style /
I had a similar problem while trying to evaluate moment from Moment.js in Chrome console. It was imported by the script being debugged/under breakpoints but does not work in console. import or require Moment.js in console gave me errors and did not work for me.
I ended up switching to Firefox Developer Edition, where I can put breakpoints and then evaluate moment in its console out of the box without any problems.
I'm using jQuery 2.2.4. Everything was ok until I done a major renaming. I renamed the main object, from actual application name to "app". I also renamed other things, as I was changing my app name.
Unfortunately jQuery (minified) doesn't work properly now . I noticed it 2 days after. I spotted 2 weird errors. For example:
$('body').on('change','input:not(.error)', function() { });
When input is changed I get an error "cannot read property test of undefined". jQuery was concatenated with my application file. When I moved jQuery to a separate file I got "uncaught reference error: app is not defined" for that event.
I renamed my main object back from app to something specific, but it didn't have any effect. And development version of jQuery works fine. I can't run a diff, because I changed so many things. Either I will find what causes the issue, or I will have to revert and do everything again.
Does anyone know what might cause jQuery to break? I remind that it only doesn't work on the minified, development version of jQuery.
I am developing a videogame using EaselJS, a Javascript library.
My project works pretty fine offine, or on a local server. However, when I try to upload it on a website (ex: http://streetfighterjs.lixter.com/ ), it doesn't work anymore : my sprites aren't loading, and nothing is shown in my canvas.
The strange thing is that I tried to use PreloadJS to preload my images, but it doesn't seems to work. I was wondering if anyone already had this kind of problem, and how did he made to fix it.
You only included easel.js and sound.js.
preload.js is missing. Therefore createjs.LoadQueue is undefined.
Just include preload.js and your code should work.
You need to include preloadjs in your head (or prefferably just after your footer element).
In my project right now, I have the following order and it works fine:
<script src="../js/vendor/easeljs-0.7.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="../js/vendor/soundjs-0.5.2.min.js"></script>
<script src="../js/vendor/preloadjs-0.4.1.min.js"></script>
You should check your console from time to time:
Which is occuring from this line:
Sounds like PreloadJS is not included, or not loaded. Can you provide
a link to the sample?

You are getting a typeffor from perso1 which is undefined. I notice that you are creating your perso1 global variable, but you are not actually saying what perso1 is equal to. Well you might be later in the code, but when you are getting that typerror, perso1 is not yet set.
Currently, the issue with the site is that perso1 is undefined during your tick (deplacement function). This will happen as long as the first image (imgPerso1) is not loaded.
I am also seeing XMLHttpRequest errors in the console, indicating that something is attempting to load cross-domain. If your LoadQueue is causing this, then you might want to change it to load content using tag-based loading instead of XHR:
new createjs.LoadQueue(false);
A few miscellaneous notes:
1. You don't need to constantly call stage.update() when you make changes, because you have a ticker that will constantly update the stage for you.
2. You are still using the default timing mode for Ticker (timeout-based). There is no useRAF property in version 0.8.1 - instead set the timingMode of the Ticker:
createjs.Ticker.timingMode = createjs.Ticker.RAF;
Hope that helps.
I am trying to over ride one the notification popups of browser using the following code:
var branch = Components.classes["#mozilla.org/preferences-service;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsIPrefBranch);
But in Mozilla Firefox, I get the error Component.classes is undefined.
And in Chrome Browser, I get the error Component is undefined.
Well I have realised I need to include something in my website. But I am unable to find exactly what is required.
Please anybody help. I googled about it a lot, but I have never used this thing before(the Classes) and I am unable to search what will help me out. i dont even have any idea that what will be the tags for this thing. I have never used Component or its classes
My website is in ZF2.
