DataTable individula search not working while placed on top of grid

DataTable individula search not working while placed on top of grid - javascript

I am new and stuck with following, I got a dataTable grid which does individual search. currently individual search boxes are at the bottom of the grid and the search working properly. But i like to place them at top just underneath the table column heading. i did that already but when i place the search boxes the grid's alignment breaks and search doesn't work. the code html and jquery code is given below.

I debug and found, after giving any search box value it hit the tableInstance.columns() code and even i can see the search box value in this.value but no data comes up after draw()

DataTable Individual column searching, I need only one select inputs

I have a table. Datatable column search is added to all fields. I just need select search for "Positions" fields . and I want text search support for above x mark(check image).

Firstly, set different className for your filter options in the table's footer so that you can separate your field on where text search and select search will be placed. Then place text inputs and select input by checking that className in this way:

DataTables Date Search and Reset Inputs

Using datatables v1.10.16 I am performing a date range search as is shown here.
The search and filter works, however I have added a 'reset' button which should clear the inputs and set the table to it's default (non-filtered) state. I'm half way there.
The reset button must be clicked twice in order to achieve the desired results. The first click seems to clear the inputs, and the second click resets the table. I want both to happen simultaneously.
Could someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

DataTables - Copy class on each <th>

I have a function outlined below which creates input for each tr in a filter row in a table. I now need to make it also copy the width of the column which I presume is done by copying the class on each tr on the #filterrow as well?

Note in the fiddle I don't seem to be able to get the class="col-xs-1" etc to have any effect. The col-xs-n seems to work only if I remove the filterrow

The <input> elements are inside <th> cells that themselves have col- attributes. As such, the <input> elements should take up 100% of the width of their parents, by making use of col-xs-12:

Add class (i.e. ignoreme) on the specific rows tr elements according to your business logic. On row select event, check for that specific class and then call deselect method to ignore selection.

Just return false in the selection event. It will stop selection of that particular row.
