For that modify portal_normal.vm you have to create new theme and relate it to
parent theme.

I am working on a site like Codepen and we are trying to get it off the ground.
So, a user can write some code in React and then the site will display what they've written, and will also deploy it. The problem is that some of the elements have styles which are being inherited from the main site, and cannot be overridden via CSS; the only way to do it is via inline styling. Is there some sort of JS code to reset styles to default? Something like
H1.style.* = "default"
using !important works, but it would be really to be able to give the user a clean slate for CSS when they're coding...
You can see the actual notebook (as we call it) here: https://djit.su/dL22DiUPUmCf2kQMLBoAJ
As you can see, inline styling works
And also using !important works
I am trying to add custom generated CSS (built from access to a database) and have it appear in the page, using Angular 4.
So far I have tried creating a component and adding it to other components (HTML files) but it appears to not be showing anything on the page, nor is it changing anything. I have also looked into adding additional CSS to each component but that will be a management nightmare for changes.
I know I could create multiple themes, or just add another class to a HTML tag. There are no themes in the system I am building and we need to have it so the user can define the styling, using any color, etc of their choosing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I'm new to web and its developing.I have HTML code and JS & CSS codes snippets i want to grab all these into one HTML page to Attach custom HTML page to Joomla. Please find below the link I followed.please help me. I need to use this kind of slider
Click here to see i want to use CSS,JS,HTML code
Try this,
Instead of creating a custom HTML page for slider you can create a banner module, then assign it to a proper menu , this way has several advantages and you can use it on multiple Joomla sites and easy to manage etc.
In this method you can manage images from banner manager and links ,clicks, impressions etc. An example Joomla banner slider can be download form here. If you have some experience in Joomla then it is very easy to make your slider from the example.
If you still want to use custom html create an article then assigne it to a proper page like home. Then use some Sourcer kind of plugin for adding script inside article editor.
Hope it make sense..
I'm trying to write a Greasemonkey script for a google product (https://www.google.com/flights/)
Basically, I'm trying to modify the CSS so that the map can be displayed larger. I created a very basic greasemonkey script that can do this very easily if I can identify the CSS class. In my script it is ".GN1QYMKH3B" which worked for a week but then this week it appears that all of the classes have changed. Is google generating these classes to prevent manipulation and if so, is there a way to navigate the DOM to select the correct CSS?
I folks, I've had a good look through but nothing seems similar to mine.
I've just finished creating a custom CMS and now want to implement customization capabilities, like templates.
I believe it uses Javascript but, I have a variety of of stylesheets on a server. css.css, css1.css etc with css.css being the main.
Is it possible that on a button click, I could choose a different sheet meaning that in essence, the sheet I would choose became the main style sheet, css.css?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Yes, you can insert a link element in the head of your page. You can do this using document.createElement, or using JQuery if you use that. If you actually want to toggle the style sheets, you can remove the previous link element, or just replace its href attribute.
