Get lat and lng from a place with google maps - javascript

I have an issue with taking the values of lat and lng from a place with google maps javascript api places searchbox.
This is the code which google provides from being able to search for places inside the searchbox.

And now i want to get the exact values of lat and lng to some variables in javascript.
After some research i have found this
var location = place.geometry.location;
var lat = location.lat();
var lng = location.lng();
So when i console.log the variables lat and lng to be appearead at the console of chrome. The problem is that i cant quite understand where should i integrate the lat and lng code from location so it can work with the example from google?
Any idea?
Thanks!

combining google street view with places search

For a project I'm currently working on, I'm looking to incorporate both elements of Google places to search with google street view, essentially forcing the location (after searching) to view as street/pano.
Google has a pretty solid 'basic' version but I can't seem to force it to use street view. Any insight would be awesome.
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-searchbox
https://www.instantstreetview.com/ - Seems to do a pretty good job of it, but I can't seem to find any documentation regarding both.
Combine the code from the SearchBox example, with the StreetView example, should give you a first cut.
Probably more what you are looking for would be to combine the answer to this related question: Facing the targeted building with Google StreetView, with the SearchBox example

Google Maps API v3 - Place Google Maps Circle as Lat/Lng from Search Box

Fairly new to this as my code shows. The code I have has been mainly taken from the Google Developers page for using the Google Maps API v3.
What I am trying to do is load a set amount of locations from a MySql database into Google Maps using PHP. I would then like to be able to use the result lat/lng of a search box to place an editable circle on the map so that the user can change the radius and move the circle and see which locations are covered by the circle. If the user does a new search I intend for the circle to be removed and replaced again at the new lat/lng from the search box.
So far I have managed:
To load locations from MySql into Google Maps using PHP
Insert a search box which pans to the address found
Enter an editable circle at a set lat/lng. This is where I have come unstuck, as I would like the editable circle to be placed dynamically.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
21.01.2018 19:35 GMT: New example of code below taken from Google Maps Developer page, as the old version of code posted had a Php link to a MySQL database and could not be loaded by anyone else. This is the search box example code from the Google Developers page (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-searchbox) and I have added some very basic code to add an editable circle.
The idea again is that, when the user searches a location instead of a marker being placed on the map an editable circle is placed. Each time a new location is searched for the editable circle is cleared from the map. I would have an input box where the user enters the radius of the circle in metres. When the radius is entered into the box the radius of the circle changes to match it.

Input to change location of map but not add markers

I want to use the Google Places API linked to an input so a user can enter in a street address and I can get the geo location.
From there, I want to be able to adjust this map to have the input location in the centre.
function initAutocomplete() {
var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map'), {
center: {lat: -33.8688, lng: 151.2195},
zoom: 13,
mapTypeId: 'roadmap'
});
// Create the search box and link it to the UI element.
var input = document.getElementById('pac-input');
var searchBox = new google.maps.places.SearchBox(input);
map.controls[google.maps.ControlPosition.TOP_LEFT].push(input);
// Bias the SearchBox results towards current map's viewport.
map.addListener('bounds_changed', function() {
searchBox.setBounds(map.getBounds());
});
var markers = [];
// Listen for the event fired when the user selects a prediction and retrieve
// more details for that place.
var marker = new google.maps.Marker({
map: map,
});
marker.bindTo('position', map, 'center');
searchBox.addListener('places_changed', function() {
var places = searchBox.getPlaces();
if (places.length == 0) {
return;
}
// Clear out the old markers.
markers.forEach(function(mark) {
mark.setMap(null);
});
markers = [];
// For each place, get the icon, name and location.
var bounds = new google.maps.LatLngBounds();
places.forEach(function(place) {
if (!place.geometry) {
console.log("Returned place contains no geometry");
return;
}

Joining Search Box & Delete Markers in google maps API Javascript

i am totally new in Javascript. I have a project to make a program (based on web page) connected to google maps.
i have read developer.google.com and stuck with it.
Please help me, how to joining two sample codes place search box (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-searchbox) and marker remove (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/marker-remove)
thanks

You have errors in the posted javascript.
Uncaught ReferenceError: haightAshbury is not defined
Uncaught ReferenceError: Markerr is not defined
...
The main problem is that the markers array and the map variable are not in the global scope, once those are moved to the global scope and the references to the Markerr array removed (or changed to markers), the buttons work (or at least do what I expect).

(Search option not working) Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined

I'm trying to implement the Google Maps API onto my website. Google Maps loads, however search option still seems to be at large due to the below error message
Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined
on following line:
var searchBox = new google.maps.places.SearchBox(input);
What is it that needs to be corrected to get this code going ?

Any help would be highly appreciated !!!
You are asynchronously loading the API. You need to put all the code that depends on the API in the callback function (initMap).
Also, you didn't read this comment, you aren't including the places library:
// This example requires the Places library. Include the libraries=places
// parameter when you first load the API. For example:
// <script src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY&libraries=places">

Put whole your code to the initMap bc google will be defined only after Google Maps script will be loaded on the page.
Also added small verification to make it worked and no errors.
