I have a url
http://localhost:8162/UI/UsersDetail.aspx?id_temp=U0001
I want to get string use javascript
?id_temp=U0001
Thank guys.
If this isn't the location of the page, you may use
var str = url.match(/\?.*$/)[0];
If this url is the current one of your page, use
var str = location.search;
You can use regex:
url.match(/\?(\w+=\w+)/)[0];
/ : Delimiter of regex
\? : Matches ? need to escape using \
\w+: Matches all alphanumeric characters and _
= : Matches =

I want to remove all "0" in my string, not only the first same value, any suggest?
Why its work but just only the first code
var str = "90807005"
console.log(str.replace("0",""))
I try to read another source and say to use (/"something"/g, new) for change all same value, and its still not working
var str = "90807005"
console.log(str.replace(/"0"/g,""))
I want it to be str = "9875";
You can use String.replaceAll or a global flag in your regex:
var str = "90807005"
console.log(str.replaceAll("0","")) //replaceAll
console.log(str.replace(/0/g,"")) //global flag

I need to remove 2 words from a string. The words are _with and _and so raised_hand_with_fingers_and_splayed becomes raised_hand_fingers_splayed
The regex /_with|_and/ appears to work in https://regexr.com/ but when I use it with JavaScript only the _with is removed:
const str = `raised_hand_with_fingers_and_splayed`;
const newStr = str.replace(/_with|_and/,"")
You need the g modifier to perform multiple replacements. Otherwise it just replaces the first match.
const str = `raised_hand_with_fingers_and_splayed`;
const newStr = str.replace(/_with|_and/g,"")
console.log(newStr);

I have a string field 01/01/1986 and I am using replace method to replace all occurrence of / with -
var test= '01/01/1986';
test.replace('//g','-')
but it does't give desire result. Any pointer would be helpful.
You just have a couple issues: don't put the regex in quotes. That turns it into a string instead of a regex and looks for that literal string. Then use \/ to escape the /:
var test= '01/01/1986';
console.log(test.replace(/\//g,'-'))
A quick way is to use split and join.
var test= '01/01/1986';
var result = test.split('/').join('-');
console.log(result);
Note too that you need to save the result. The original string itself will never be modified.

Javascript: extract URLs from string (inc. querystring) and return array

how to detect and get url on string javascript?
example :
var string = "hei dude, check this link http:://google.com and http:://youtube.com"
how to get result like this from my string :
var result = ["http:://google.com", "http:://youtube.com"]
how do that?
You input has double :: after http. Not sure if it intentional. If it is then use:
var matches = string.match(/\bhttps?::\/\/\S+/gi);
If only one : is needed then use:
var matches = string.match(/\bhttps?:\/\/\S+/gi);
RegEx Demo
const string = "hei dude, check this link http:://google.com and http:://youtube.com"
const matches = string.match(/\bhttp?::\/\/\S+/gi);
console.log(matches);

In JavaScript, I need to find a substring between &J= and Key using regex and remove it from my url which could contain several substrings.
Here is my url:
SID=18608202881669&Act=432&Mode=1&CLk=T&Key58=6003&dotnetdll=TopCoConfigurator.dll&dotnetfunc=CasingSizeSummary&SID=18608202881669&F=&J=CasingSize/CasingSizeSummary.asp&Key58=6003&ccs_casingsizeid=6003
Thanks
You can learn Regular Expression here and code for your problem is:
Here you go:
SID="18608202881669&Act=432&Mode=1&CLk=T&Key58=6003&dotnetdll=TopCoConfigurator.dll&dotnetfunc=CasingSizeSummary&SID=18608202881669&F=&J=CasingSize/CasingSizeSummary.asp&Key58=6003&ccs_casingsizeid=6003";
var re = /&J=(.*?)&Key/;
SID = SID.replace(re, '');
alert(SID);
