How to disable manually changing date in SlickGrid Date Editor? - javascript

I want to force the user to use the date picker in SlickGrid and not be able to manually type in a date. Is this possible? I've looked through slick.editors.js and tried a few things but not having any luck?

Text Field and Drop Down Combobox

I am new to javascript and am trying to add a combobox to a form I am creating, I would like the user to be able to enter an answer or pick one from a drop down. I found a pluggin online and set it up. The drop down works fine but the answer entered by the user isn't stored in the text field, when you click out of the text box it disappears.
I looking at the onblur part of the code to see if I could change the behavior but I couldn't. Could someone help? the code is below.

Jquery quicksearch issue with Sharepoint 2013

I'm using a jquery plugin called quicksearch within Sharepoint 2010 and it works perfectly. Unfortunately were being forced to migrate onto sharepoint 2013 and it's stopped working. An error is shown saying that the function is undefined. I believe I've narrowed this down to the quicksearch function itself.

I have a feeling that var active_el = $(this) is not what you're expecting. I'm not running the code but I believe that this will be self in this context. However, I'd like to recommend a more fundamental MVVM change. Rather than including all this jQuery code for updating the UI, I would recommend setting properties on your view model instead. Here's a simplified example:

How can I stop the autoplay function of cSlider with an onmouseover event?

If you notice, even the page number is retrieved but the content is not painted in the pages. CanĀ“t find why.. Is the any other function I should call next to PDFView.open?
