I am trying to implement the rainbow jquery plugin on my blog: https://levalencia-public.sharepoint.com/blog
Rainbow plugin here:
http://craig.is/making/rainbows
I have included the following on the head

I have included the following before the body end tag

Then I included one post to test it with the code:

var testing = true;

When I check the source code of my blog, it looks like the html is being changed, because I see this:
If I debug the rainbow.color is being hit.
So I am clueless
First of all, Rainbow initializes itself so you should be able to remove this without any problem:

The main issue you are seeing is that your theme file is not being included correctly. If you look at the theme you are including it is not a valid css file. It is returning some sort of html.

I've founded this article but I don't know where to add this code:
$(document).ready(function(){
$(".showDescriptionTextbox").val($(".Product").val());//to initialize
$(".showDescriptionDiv").text($(".Product").val());//to initialize
$(".Product").change(function(){
$(".showDescriptionTextbox").val($(".Product").val());
$(".showDescriptionDiv").text($(".Product").val());
});
});
I've file jquery-1.11.3.min.js, jquery-1.10.2.min.js.
Should I edit one of both file with above code? Please give me a hint.
I want to execute query SQL by clicking the select option that I know it's just possible using jquery/ajax/js, but I'm still newbie.
I've file jquery-1.11.3.min.js, jquery-1.10.2.min.js. Both are jquery library file with different version. Only one should be included.
In your case the code snippet which you have shared can be included in a separate js file. Like this
nameOfYourJSFile.js
$(document).ready(function(){
$(".showDescriptionTextbox").val($(".Product").val());//to initialize
$(".showDescriptionDiv").text($(".Product").val());//to initialize
$(".Product").change(function(){
$(".showDescriptionTextbox").val($(".Product").val());
$(".showDescriptionDiv").text($(".Product").val());
});
});
Include the file in your main html file. Add the scripts near the bottom of the page.

Hello Plunker!

DEMO
If the file is included in the bottom , there is no need to use document.ready function
Add your code BELOW the
So, JQuery will be loaded and can be used
I know, this question is asked like milion times, but I cant get it to work.
All my html,css and js files are located in same folder.
Below - my code, but I also mad jsfiddle here .
The code works fine in JSfiddle, but doesnt work on my computer, so i thought it might be something with my html head and linking to javascript file, but it seems to be right.
header of my html file :

Nacionālie dārgumi

This is my html:

PAR PROJEKTU

NACIONĀLIE DĀRGUMI

SASNIEGUMI

SĀKUMS

This is my script.js:
$(function(){
console.log('ready');
$('.main-menu li').click(function(e) {
e.preventDefault()
$that = $(this);
$that.parent().find('li').removeClass('active');
$that.addClass('active');
});
})
This is my style.css :
.active {
background: black;
}
Any help will be highly appreciated!
I think you don't have jquery library on html head section.
like this using CDN
Try to add before your main script declaration.
This link only works if you are connected to internet, or download the file so you can use it locally.
Please check whether you have included the reference of Jquery.js in your Header part of HTML or not. As , your script file will not run if you haven't use jquery.js before the script.js load .
Header should be loading jquery.
You can try as below :

Nacionalie dargumi

or download jquery.min.js and load it.
You're using jQuery, so you need to provide the link to the library to get your script.js work. Make sure that the CDN library and your local script.js are added in this order.

in your browser Press F12 and check the tab Sources (in Chrome) or
Debugger (in Firefox) to make sure script.js is loaded.
You must also see a 'ready' message in your browser console.
i would like to add javascript to an html page. I don't want to have those scripts inline on the home page however, I would like them to be in an external javascript file. How do I link to an external javascript file so those scripts are run on the page?

asc Computer Grass Roots pvt. ltd.

somecodes

Instead of

put

Of course you will have to create a file named 'myscript.js' and type javascript code in it.
For example, let say that you have all your javascript code in a file called 'functions.js', to link that javascript file to your html page just do it the same way you linked you jquery file.

asc Computer Grass Roots pvt. ltd.

somecodes

Keep in mind that if the code in your 'functions.js' file needs jQuery to work correctly you have to add 'jquery.js' before adding your custom file, just as it is in the example.
In the map of your website create a file called script.js
put your jquery script in there
replace:

with:

just like you did with the jquery.js, next time search the web before asking questions on SO.
Example
if you google "link javascript file" the first link is your answer to the question (link above is the website).
I am trying to make wall script like google+ but i have one problem. Users can share pictures and videos I've created a base. However, the tab does not work currently. Reason ...

Call javascript function This function for post cancel or submit

and this javascript function is for Photo and video click open box also this function is not working now.

This link is my tutotiral link. If you check this page you can understand me. If you click photo photo share panel will not open also video share panel not working.

What is there in this file js/jquery.min2.js? If it is the jquery library, please remove it because you have a google cdn code in the same file. In addition, you are using a old version of jquery. Since 1.4 many things have changed in jQuery so, please use the latest version of jquery http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js

I think that leads up the tab portions. Just like facebook. I understand that you have used bubble box. If you want three different areas. For example: status, video, link to share, create the base area. This will provide you more convenience.
You can write your php code easier.
Because sharing is currently part of three different courses you want to use a single form. But you can spend more time for it. However, creating three forms that will be easier if you make sharing.
Share your theme really nice congratulations. However troubling.
I've studied your own scripts. Bonding between the lines of the script too much. This is not true. Create a new js file and then type into the function you are using. Gators later use the following code:

In this way, your problems will disappear.
Good day!
I have recently acquired a code and was passed on using fiddle. It works fine on the fiddle but when I am trying to implement it on my site.
Head tag contains:

NQA Insert

While NQA.js contains:
$('#bill50').on('change', function() {
var date30 = new Date($(this).val());
date30.setDate(date30.getDate()+30);
var date20 = new Date($(this).val());
date20.setDate(date20.getDate()+60);
$('#bill30').val(date30.toJSON().slice(0,10));
$('#bill20').val(date20.toJSON().slice(0,10));
});
Note 1: If you input a date on bill50, the value on bill30 and bill20 also changes.
Note 2: I am implementing this on a php page. Maybe this helps...
Why is it that when implementing it on the site, it doesn't work at all? Is there anything wrong in my calling of the jscript..?
you need to include the jQuery library, as you can see in your jsFiddle he's including jQuery 1.8.3, you should add it in your "head" tag just before the js script you bought.
You'll get something like this:

NQA Insert
