Raphael charts with Jquery qtip - javascript

How to integrate raphael charts with jquery qtip since qtip provides very nice configurable tool tips out of the box?.
I have found the implementation of the stacked area graph in this url http://grafico.kilianvalkhof.com/documentation/#stack . When I started playing with this implementation for the customizing the tool tip on this area chart. But things like applying styles on the text and changing the orientation of the tool tip seemed very difficult .finally I managed to change the text and color of the text on tool tip ,change the size and more . But all customization resulted in tool-tip drifting from its position when the size of the text is increased. But I want all the features available in QTIP for the tool tip .Please any body has clue on this? all ideas are welcome Below is the graph i have generated with the tool tip

I am able to solve this problem by using Jquery FLOT instead of Grafico and Raphael
Jquery FLOT is really cool, easy to use and customize and it has lot online help.
I able to generate stacked area chart with tool-tip as per my requirement.

tooltip issue in raphael js for area graph

I need to generate tool tip on area graph using Raphael.js. But tool tip has be shown on hover at particular x,y coordinates only( position is important since it is a multi area graph).
I am able to generate this area graph and tool-tip as well.
There are multiple lines on tool tip and each should have separate styling and not same styling.
I am unable to rotate the tooltip by 90 degree and there is a problem since the tool-tip keeps shifting downwards when text size changes.
So are there any way where can style each text on each line differently and keep the tool-tip at correct place?
This issue is resolved.
Since Grafico was really tough to customize I used Jquery FLOT library for my requirement .
I am able to do any required customization in FLOT and FLOT is very fast and easy to use with so much support available on the FLOT site.

Zooming using slider

I am a beginner with jQuery and looking to build a short plugin for my requirement. I am looking to build a light and short timeline like plugin which has to look something like the following:
The green bar below has two small rectangles which can be moved left and right towards or away from each other to zoom in / zoom out the content of the timeline above (orange bar). I tried to find similar plugin which I could use as a reference to write to zoom in/zoom out using the slider.
I found some timeline plugins such as Timeglider etc. which have the zoom functionality implemented in a different way and not similar to the above figure (where I could use two rectangles to zoom in/zoom out and zoom timeline in orange bar).
I wanted to ask for suggestions about where I could find a similar plugin that I could use as a reference to see how zooming using slider is implemented. Or if there's no such already plugin, I would appreciate some help on how to go about the zooming functionaility for the plugin.
Do you know, that there is the slider plugin for jQuery UI (link). It will be just question of styling it, connecting to slide event and changing zoom level on the go.
I would expand my answer, but I lack some more information about your HTML layout, Would like to see some code of yours in jsfiddle.net.

ready to use dynamic pie chart in d3.js

I am evaluating to change the graphics I generated so far using highcharts.js to d3.js
just for fun and I want to learn how d3.js works.
I wonder if there is something similar to the url below (see if you click on a pie it gives you new data), something dynamic and ready to use (or not to implement from zero).
What I wanna achieve, more or less...

thanks in advance

If you want to replace Highcharts, I think the only good open-source alternative available at the moment is Bob Monteverde's Novus charts library: http://novus.github.com/nvd3/. NVD3 has a nice pie chart and also has good legends. Take a look at all the charts from this library and you will see what I mean. You can also find a good pie chart in Stephen Boak's tutorial: http://blog.stephenboak.com/2011/08/07/easy-as-a-pie.html. Another interesting option is to look for Frank Guerino's questions on the D3 js google group. I would use NVD3 if I were you. It might need some adjustments, but it seems to be the best option currently. Good luck!
Simple function to generate Pie Charts utilisiing d3.js. This function is part of the http://xhprof.io/ project. It is able to handle datasets of arbitrary size. It has several options that allow for customisation, such as the label margin, circle radius and visibility of the percentage data (refer to the source code).

Which javascript or JQuery charting tool can I use to create heatmap charts with vertical column labels?

I'm looking for a charting library that can draw heatmap charts, and has the option of displaying column label text vertically (allowing me to fit lots of columns on the screen regardless of the length of the labels)
Ideally the library would be free for a charity/educational organisation.
Here's an example of a simple heatmap with vertical labels:
That chart was created using FusionCharts, which is not suitable as it is a flash-based product and is expensive to license.
You could always roll this yourself. Most of the table can be generated using ordinary HTML, with the exception of the vertical labels at the bottom. You could tackle that with Rafael, a JavaScript library that allows you to draw on an HTML canvas. Drawing rotated text is actually available out of the box so it won't be hard to implement.
I think what you are looking for is also called a TreeMap (in some circles anyway).
Check out thejit.org
Under the demos checkout the treemap and the icicle chart.
At this url you can find what you are looking for heatmapjs

Google Chart Visualization API, Bar chart values / tooltips

I am trying to add the actual value of all the bars in my chart to the
end of each bar. I want this to either replace, or to add to the tool-
tip functionality.
I see that this is possible in the image chart, it is the
functionality described in the following link that I wish to
replicate:
http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/#image_bar_chart
I am wondering if this is possible in the Javascript based version of
the bar chart?
Many thanks,
H.
It looks like there's no built in functions to draw text ad-hoc on top of google's different charts. Behind the scenes, it's generating SVG so you could try to insert some valid SVG on your own.
Another option would be to use a more flexible (but less featureful) library like raphael.js:
