I have a problem with google map navigator service. I have to zoom in on the part of the map where the user is located. So I have decided to use the navigator service provided by google.
This works fine for all the browser except safari 7.0.1. I have used the code given on this demo as a reference.
Below is a screen shot of the demo example as seen on Safari 7.0.1.
EDIT:
1: Didn't work even after allowing the browser to use my location.
2: Works fine on safari 6.1.1 and not 7.0.1.
Any work around for this problem?
Thanks,

Exactly as the title says: my code expands a SafeFrame to fill the window when clicked, using $sf.ext.expand($sf.ext.geom().exp);. The base ad-unit renders without issue, but the attempt to expand fails every time.
This works fine in Chrome, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile, and was working in Edge version 40 - but not the latest version (41.16299.15.0).
The issue seems to be limited to Google's SafeFrame implementation.
The tester at http://safeframes.net/examples/creative_test.html (which, as far as I can tell, uses the IAB reference implementation) works just fine in every browser I can find...
...whereas http://publisherconsole.appspot.com/safeframe/creative-preview.html, which uses GPT, exhibits the same behaviour (works everywhere but Edge 41).
Has anyone found a workaround for this?
UPDATE: As of 2018-02-22, GPT SafeFrames expand correctly in Edge 41, as everywhere else. As there hasn't been an Edge update, Google have presumably silently fixed the issue on their end.
I am currently using the 3d cardflip method on my website and it is working perfectly in Firefox, IE, as well as the IE downgrades I have for older browsers. My issue is arising from the fact that it seems that all Apple iOS devices and Safari will not load the images and information on the cards on the initial load of the page but only when a hard reload or a simple reload of the page is performed. I have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue and I have not been able to find any information regarding the issue either. Any help would be gladly appreciated! The page that is not working is http://www.paytonandsam.com/about_sam.html
Please test this website on Safari Version 5.1.5, 6.0.2,6.0.3 i.e. a higher version of Safari browser. Because now safari browser is faster and flexible than the older version.
"googlechrome://www.lego.com" opened in mobile Safari will switch to Google Chrome iOS app to open the URL. This allows for scriptlets like the one below, which allows you to open the current page in Google Chrome iOS app, switching from mobile Safari:
(function()%7Bif(document.location.href.indexOf('http')===0)document.location.href=document.location.href.replace(/%5Ehttp/,'googlechrome');%7D)();
My question is, can the reverse be done? I tried "safari://www.lego.com", and it is simply an invalid URL. Can you make a scriptlet which switches from Google Chrome to mobile Safari to open the current page.
The answer is yes. Courtesy or MacStories (http://www.macstories.net/tutorials/chrome-for-ios-send-a-webpage-back-to-safari-via-bookmarklet/), I found this code:
window.location='googlechrome-x-callback://x-callback-url/open/?url='+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+'&x-source=Safari&x-success='+encodeURIComponent(location.href);
Execute that code, go to your homescreen, reopen Chrome, and there's a magical back button to go back to Safari. This may not be exactly what you want, but it works... Kink of.
Good luck!

Update:
It seems that the functionality to do this has broken. Thank you!
It appears that the excellent carousel library ContentFlow has reflection issues with Chrome on Mac (I am using Lion). Seems to be fine on PC. Visit http://www.jacksasylum.eu/ContentFlow/ in Chrome and you'll see in the example the images are incorrectly mirrored with a shady part at the top as per the below screenshots. Is there a fix / workaround? It doesn't seem that there is active development on ContentFlow anymore, which is a shame.
I'm using Chrome 16.0.912.75, on Mac (Lion)
****EDIT**** Screenshots
Proper (from Safari)
Broken (from Chrome)
There's an issue open here: http://code.google.com/p/contentflow/issues/detail?id=34
People tried different things, but it breaks on Windows' Chrome :(
I'm working on creating a FPS-type game for the browser using WebGL/Javascript and have been unable to successfully implement the very recently added "Mouse Lock" feature to Chrome and Firefox.
I have tried the example code from all three of these sources to no avail:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=72754
http://blog.sethladd.com/2011/09/mouse-lock-for-html5-fps-games.html
http://jsfiddle.net/jdias/3dqBL/
So, that leads me to my question. What is the correct way to lock the mouse in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox (Minefield)? I would really love to get this working!
Thanks in advance.
Mouselock actually hasn't been implemented in Firefox, but there is an experimental build located at: http://people.mozilla.com/~tmielczarek/mouselock+gamepad/ . With google Chrome, get the latest version and go into about:flags and check --enable-pointer-lock.
I hope that helps.
