So I'm working on a big system using JQM and the problem I'm running into is that after I use a history.go(-1) to change page (with a cancel button) firefox breaks entirely. All pages on all open firefox windows and tabs no longer display correctly, and some of the UI buttons are even becoming more transparent. The page that I transition to has all coloration replaced with solid black. I don't know what to do to debug this because I don't know what's actually happening here. Could someone possibly explain what's happening to firefox?
Note: I have attempted to pick up an error message in the console, but when the firefox javascript console is open, the bug stops happening.

I am working on this site "http://tinyurl.com/joblnmd". On home page there'gif animation, I've used preload method to load images, its working on all major browsers expect safari on Mac.
Is this bug in safari or is there any hack?
New Post: I've looked at the site again and there doesn't seem to be any problems. The loading hourglass appears for a long time, but it eventually disappears and the main content of the page is visible. It might be best for your to provide a JSFiddle with just the area in question so that I, or someone else, can have a proper look and help you solve your problem.
Old Post: Maybe you need to update your browser. My Mac Safari appears to show everything perfectly. But I'll check again later tonight. The animation looks very nice.
We have added a jQuery dialog box for logging in to our site:
http://www.knowledgecity.com/index.html
It seems to work fine in Chrome and Safari, but when we browse the page on Firefox and click on the "Log In" button in the header and wait ~12 seconds then all of the sudden the dialog box's CSS seems to get messed up.
What makes this issue difficult to diagnose is that the CSS in the dev console for the elements that are changing do not have any CSS rules that are changing in the dev console.
Broken CSS for Dialog Login
I am really having trouble tracking down what is causing the problem. The dialog box CSS breaks for Firefox in both Windows 8 and Ubuntu 14.04. Again, the CSS tends to break somewhere around 10-15 seconds after the page loads which is a bizarre delay and I'm not sure what is triggering it. Any help would be appreciated!
It has probably something to do with resload.js. Before css messing up, console logs lots of "The operation is insecure" errors. Just as css messes up, these errors stop.
Ive made a simple project with html and jquery. It works great in all browsers except for safari on ipads. Since apple doesnt have a windows version of safari i cannot check if the error is explicitly for ipad but i think so.
The problem is the photoboxes wich get their width from the jquery, they dont appear at all on the ipad. Chromes developer tools device mode shows everything correctly and i have css queries that take care of smaller screens so its only the ipad thats the problem. I havent found any way to do a web debug on the ipad either. Its hard to give a code example due to i dont really know what the error is but i have a live demo you can check out. For you on ipads, its supposed to be photos before the winter background.

I am also getting the same error on desktop Chrome on the first load. If I refresh, then the pictures load fine but on first visit to the link I only get the footer image (trees.)
On the first load, none of your jQuery heights/widths are being applied. No errors in the console and if I rerun the function it works as it should (without reloading the page.)
I suggest either pushing the script further down the page or using $(window).load(function() {}
instead of
$(document).ready(function() {}
That is the only thing I can assume is wrong if it fails first time but works with the page being cached.
So I've been working on a website, and the main focus of the site is a javascript-driven 3D carousel, and I got the code for the carousel from here: https://github.com/kaizouman/3dcarousel
I integrated the code into my site, and only modified the number of carousel items and the size of each item. I left the rest of the code untouched (demo.js and 3dcarousel.js). It works perfectly, but only most of the time. I've noticed that it'll work perfectly in Chrome about 90% of the time, in Safari about 80% of the time, and in Microsoft Edge & IE, it pretty much never works. When it doesn't work, it just loads each image individually. When it happens in Chrome, if I keep refreshing the page, it'll eventually work properly. Also interestingly, when I navigate to another page in Chrome and then hit the back button, the carousel will always fail to load.
Here's what it looks like in Microsoft Edge and also when it fails to load in Chrome:
And here's what it looks like when it loads properly:
I can't for the life of me begin to figure out why this is happening, does anyone have any idea? The website is located at http://lipocircuit.com/new.html.
WOW this was a simple fix, I just commented out the line that includes the prefixfree.min.js script, I guess that's outdated and not needed anymore. I feel dumb but I'll leave this up in case anyone else has this issue.
After updating Google Chrome browser to the latest 15.0.874.106 version (under Windows 7), my site is experiencing some weird flickering bug.
The text shadows are displaying completely wrong, the text itself is fuzzy and unclear, some parts of code don't work anymore (e.g. right floating, fixed menu)... etc.
For a couple of seconds the site is displayed fine, then it flickers all of the sudden (while still loading) and then the rendering gets messed up. (I think it has maybe some problems with loading of Google Maps v3)
The funny thing is that the old version of Chrome (before updating, on my other computer) is still displaying the site without any problems, and there haven't been any changes in the code in the meanwhile.
In other browsers (as i said, even in the old chrome) everything is OK. Firebug and Chrome's code inspector (CTRL+SHIFT+J) don't show any errors in the code. I have been doing some digging on the Internet and here as well, and I havent't found anything useful.
You can check it out by yourself by clicking here
Thanks in advance.
I have done same settings changes as mentioned above post and now, that weird flicker got stopped, below are the details....
Open Chrome Browser
Click on Settings menu option
Click on Advance setting link in Settings page
Un-Check "Use Hardware acceleration when available" checkbox
Restart you chrome browser
Happy Browsing....... :)
Also make sure to disable not only accelerated-compositing, but also accelerated-2d-canvas.
This is how I start google-chrome on Linux:
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome %U --user-data-dir=/root --disable-accelerated-compositing --disable-accelerated-2d-canvas
On Windows, you might want to omit
--user-data-dir=/root
Josip Filipović apology where to do that (in Win7 by entering -disable-accelerated-compositing in properties > target field) that part disables hardware acceleration.
