I have integrated authorize.net accept.js embedded iFrame in my application. Having trouble setting the transaction respone in my lambda function to get the response. I've seen similar questions on stack overflow but nothing worked out for me yet.
Using Nodejs for my backend and angular7 for the front-end.
I successfully get the token from my lambda function so my iframe appears on the ui. I've set \"showReceipt\": false providing url for cancel & continue, since the documentation says I have to set the show receipt parameter "false" in order to communicate with the IFrameCommunicator.html in the ui. But when I click on "Pay" its stuck at "Processing.." for a long time.

I'm sure the transaction is happening looking at the response but not sure why it's not connecting with the communicator.
I've read the steps in the documentation and also followed the GitHub sample code-https://github.com/AuthorizeNet/accept-sample-app, which made me more confused since they both say different things at some places. Following are the steps I've accomplished until now :
Created a lambda hosted payment function with all the settings (followed the correct sequence) to get back a token.
Created a hosted payment form to display the iframe.
Able to make a payment --> get the receipt page --> routing to success screen.
What I'm trying to accomplish:
After I make the payment, initial idea was to trigger a different lambda function based on the response from authorize.net without communicating with IFrameCommunicator.html, but as I cannot do that, I want to get a response to initiate the next process at the backend.
Also, we're not storing any user details in our server and not interested in creating a customer profile unless it's a necessary step to get the transaction response. Please suggest the step integration if I can do it in the same lambda function I've created to get a token or I would have to create a different one for this and when will that step be implemented?
I know about the Webhooks but not sure if it's an absolute necessity at this point of time when I'm just trying to implement a simple transaction.
I'm a newbie and I couldn't find a lot of examples related to the same to resolve my issues/confusions. Would highly appreciate if I get a clear explanation on the steps here and where am I going wrong.

1)if you are using iFrame then iFrameCommunicator is mandatory
2)the success url can only be used when you set "showReceipt" as true, here you cannot navigate automatically to yoour success page, this is the link for "Continue" button which appears when "showReceipt" is allowed

I am trying to use the JavaScript/jQuery Ajax File Uploader by Jordan Feldstein available at https://github.com/jfeldstein/jQuery.AjaxFileUpload.js
It is an older library but still very popular due to it's simplicity and for being so lightweight (around 100 lines) and you can attach it to a single form input filed and it simply works! You select a file as normal with the form inut filed and on selection it instantly uploads using AJAX and returns the uploaded file URL.
This makes the library good for my use where I am uploading a file inside a modal window which is also generate with AJAX and I have used this library in many similar projects.
My backend is using PHP and Laravel and that is where my issue seems to be.
My test script works but when I implement it into my Laravel app it returns this error....
ERROR: Failed to write data to 1439150550.jpg, check permissions
This error is set in my controller below when this code is not retuning a value...

So perhaps this part file_get_contents('php://input') does not contain my file data?
It does create the proper directory structure and even a file which is /uploads/backing/2015/08/1439150550.jpg
The 1439150550.jpg is a timestamp of when the upload took place. It create this file in the proper location however the file created has no content and is 0 bytes!

The problem is like you said, file_get_contents('php://input') does not contain your file data.
jQuery.AjaxFileUpload plugin wrap file input element with a form element that contains enctype="multipart/form-data" attribute. 1

I am trying to do something seemingly very simple but I'm having trouble working it out. Users can submit some text using a HTML form with POST method. This is then sent off to an API for processing, and returns with a JSON object. I then just want the app.js file to send this JSON object back so I can play around with it using JQuery.

Are you sure that you are sending json with res.send()? Try to set header
res.set('Content-Type', 'application/json') or use this res.json() instead of res.send()

EDIT: this answer is (now) largely irrelevant. If your image is on the web, just specify the url param as per the API (and see examples in other answers). If you would like to POST the image content to facebook directly, you may want to read this answer to gain understanding. Also see HTML5's Canvas.toDataUrl().
The API says: "To publish a photo, issue a POST request with the photo file attachment as multipart/form-data."
FB is expecting that the bytes of the image to be uploaded are in the body of the HTTP request, but they're not there. Or to look at it another way - where in the FB.api() call are you supplying the actual contents of the image itself?
The FB.api() API is poorly documented, and doesn't supply an example of an HTTP POST which includes a body. One might infer from the absence of such an example that it doesn't support this.
That's probably OK - FB.api() is using something called XmlHttpRequest under the covers which does support including a body ... look it up in your favourite JavaScript reference.
However, you'll still have 2 sub-problems to solve:
how to prepare the image bytes (and rest of the request) as multipart/form-data; and
getting the bytes of the image itself
(incidentally, the need to encode the message body is probably what the PHP setFileUploadSupport(true) method is for - tell the facebook object to encode the message body as multipart/form-data before sending)
But it's a bit meessier than that
Unfortunately, sub-problem '2' may bite you - there is no way (last time I looked) to extract the bytes of an image from the browser-supplied Image object.
If the image to be uploaded is accessible via a URL, you could fetch the bytes with XmlHttpRequest. Not too bad.
If the image is coming from the user's desktop, your probable recourse is to offer the user a:

So this is the best way to post photo to a facebook profile with GRAPH API and is the simple one.
In many answer i have seen that image url is shwon by the source,picture or image etc but that doesn't works.

Only #Thiago's answer is answering the question of uploading data via javascript. I've found that the Facebook JS API doesn't cover this situation.

Using an HTML form in an iframe - you cannot get the response from the call
Using a FormData & File approach, but unfortunately in this case there are a lot of incompatilities which make the process harder to use, and you would end up duct-taping around the inconsistencies - thus my choice was manual data assembly since HTTP standards rarely change :)

I seem to have a similar problem, but solutions above didn't work.
I was using the solution suggested by Arrabi (just use the url property only) to post images without any problem. My images are around 2-3 MB each.
When I migrated my app to another server (changing the absolute url of my images in the post) the method kept giving me 324 errors for images above around 100k size.
I thought it was due to some Apache setting on my end, but when I changed apache for lighttpd the problem was still there.
