I use pie.js (http://css3pie.com/) a library that allows me to have css3 on ie6+. I apply pie.js on document.ready :

My problem is when the dom was modified the elements for which I have apply pie.js are not rendering well so I must load my function that apply pie.js to my elements when the dom is modified and only for section that was modified using OnSubtreeModified or another technique ... For example I have a panel that is displayed when dom was loaded, in that panel I have a button that is expanding another panel with buttons and other elements for which I want to apply pie.js, so for main panel all elements for which I have applied pie.js are rendered ok but the elements from expanded panel, pie.js is not applied :|
So how can I inject that pie.js when dom is modified for expanded panel?

If you are using wicket the only way to do that is through Wicket.Ajax.registerPostCallHandler
Add this in your project, every time when a ajax request is done your pie will be applied.

Do you get your data from an Ajax call? If so, you need to add the pie in the callback. There is no possibility (at least afaik) to add anything on something that you don't have at a given time.
If you need to add the pie in the callback, you should make an separate function for that. You can give a dom node to the function and it checks for every child node if pie is applied, and if not it does so.
You can't use the DOMSubtreeModified event since older versions of IE - which you are targeting - don't support this. You can, however, work around this by using this answer Detect changes in the DOM together with this script:

It creates a local function applyPIE() which is called on document ready and every time the DOM changes - filtering out already processed elements. You may want to expand the .vexClass, #vexId set of selectors to match your needs.

menuInit() successfully modifies DOM elements when included in the html directly instead of using $.get(),so the intialization has no issues, however, when using ajax, the intialization of the menu starts before the DOM elements are fully loaded.
I've made a little research and .prepend() does not support callbacks, so not an option.
Surrounding menuInit() with a setTimeOut() with 100 ms works, but it will most certainly fail with slow connections, I need something more dynamic.
Just put the rest of the code inside the callback so it executes after the data has been added to the page:

I load a part of my basketpage inside an accordion div in my header. This works great and shows my basket in a nice dropdown.
The last problem I need to solve with this is to get the buttons in the loaded content to work. Is it possible to write an callback that make these works? Im not sure even what to google for this one..

You need to use a child selector for the event. You can attach an event to the .sub-menu element that will fire on the content loaded in through the ajax. Something like the following could work:

Notice the second parameter to the on method. It is a selector that will be used to look at the target of the click event. I used .action.actionbasket.checkout since that is what is on your a tag.

I have a need to add a class to certain pages - ones that contain an ID of #hero. For all other pages, the class must not be added.
Because I'm using asp.net with a few layered master pages, its not as simple as just adding a class directly to the html becuase the body tag sits a couple of pages above the aspx page.
I could locate the body tag, but so far I've tried to avoid that due to the added complexity, and instead tried to use jquery.
Here's the code:

Nothing complicated, but here's the rub. By the time the class has been appended, the page has been rendered and the class doesn't seem to have any effect. However, if I test it by adding the class directly to the html, it works - so I know the CSS works and that its a timing issue.
I suppose I could add the code higher up the page - jquery is deferred, so I would need to know the equivalent javascript to try it out.
Would appreciate any thoughts on this potential solution, or perhaps and other ideas.

You can alter the DOM without waiting for it to be ready.
You need to:
load jQuery in a synchronous way(without defer or async).
Put #hero element i above the script.

Not reasitic to change the whole site infrastructure - from one that defers jquery to loading it synchronously.
The two other jquery answers are as per the current setup and don't work.
The only working solution was provided by Tushar, although it would still require selective loading of the script, which was not included in the answer.
In the end, I used a workaround, which bypassed the need for any javascript. Instead of selectively adding a class to html tag, I added the css permanently to the html tag, affecting all pages. I then added an inner div, which reverses it out. This means that any page can now manipulate its own functionality directly without having to add classes to the html tag.
I'm working to use custom checkbox styles with a checkbox which is dynamically generated by javascript for the Google Identity Toolkit. For example, we add this div:

I need to add a class to the HTML which is added by the javascript without any action by the user and I'm struggling to make it work. For example, here is my code:

I've tried switching 'ready' for a few other options and also using the livequery plugin, but nothing is working for me. It works if I use an active event like 'click,' but I can't figure out how to do this when the page loads. Could someone please help? Thanks!
Modern browsers (including IE11) support mutation obervers. You can use one to monitor the parent node of the div that will be added. When the div has been added, just add the class.

so after including the function it'd be something like:

It's not perfect and I'm sure there are better solutions out there but in most cases like this it does the job.
I have the following in my javascript file:

But sometimes my createGrid() function gets called before my divIder is actually loaded onto the page. So then when I try to render my grid it can't find the proper div to point to and doesn't ever render. How can I call a function after my div is completely ready to be used?

You can use recursion here to do this. For example:

Basically, this function will check to make sure that the element exists and is visible. If it is, it will run your createGrid() function. If not, it will wait 50ms and try again.
Note:: Ideally, you would just use the callback function of your AJAX call to know when the container was appended, but this is a brute force, standalone approach. :)
Thus far, the only way to "listen" on DOM events, like inserting or modifying Elements, was to use the such called Mutation Events. For instance

The Problem with Mutation Events was (is) they never really made their way into any official spec because of inconcistencies and stuff. After a while, this events were implemented in all modern browser, but they were declared as deprecated, in other words
you don't want to use them.
The official replacement for the Mutation Events is the MutationObserver() object.

At this time, the API has been implemented in newer Firefox, Chrome and Safari versions. I'm not sure about IE and Opera. So the tradeoff here is definitely that you can only target for topnotch browsers.
To do something after certain div load from function .load().
I think this exactly what you need:

Through jQuery.ready function you can specify function that's executed when DOM is loaded.
Whole DOM, not any div you want.
So, you should use ready in a bit different way

This is in case when you dont use AJAX to load your div
inside your <div></div> element you can call the $(document).ready(function(){}); execute a command, something like

and you can do the same to other divs that you have.
