This is my diploma project, and I want to insert a row at the start with a choose equipment select but I don't know how to use jQuery.
<form>
<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>Kod Peralatan</td>
<td>Nama Peralatan</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<select>
<option>Choose Equipment</option>
</select>
</td>
<td> </td>
</tr>
</table>
<table>
<tr>
<td align="right">
<button type="button">Add Row</button>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</center>
</form>
I think this is what you may be looking for.
This will dynamically add a new row to your equipment table, and create a new drop down list, which is populated.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Equipment</title>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var rows = 0;
function addMoreEquipment() {
rows++;
var options = [{ name: "Item 1", value: "1" }, { name: "Item 2", value: "2" }, { name: "Item 3", value: "3" }];
var row = $("<tr id='row"+ rows +"'><td><select id='equipment" + rows + "'></select></td><td><a href='#' onclick='removeRow(\"row" + rows + "\")'>Remove</a></td></tr>")
$("#equipment").append(row);
for (var i = 0; i < options.length; i++)
$("#equipment" + rows).append(new Option(options[i].name, options[i].value));
}
function removeRow(id) {
$("#" + id).remove();
}
$(document).ready(function() {
addMoreEquipment();
});
</script>
</head>
<body>
<form>
<table border="1" id="equipment">
<tr>
<td>Kod Peralatan</td>
<td>Nama Peralatan</td>
</tr>
</table>
<div style="text-align: right">
<input type="button" onclick="addMoreEquipment()" value="Add Row">

</form>

I want to disable submit button if there is any empty field in class element.
$(document).ready(function (){
fees = [];
$('#button').attr('disabled',true);

function submitButton() {
// var fees = $('.fee').val();
var total = $('#total').val();
$(".fee").each(function(index, value){

if(fees.includes('') && total = '') {
$('#button').attr('disabled',true);
} else {
$('#button').attr('disabled',false);

Just check if there is content inside the inputs, if you activate the button by removing the disabled class
$('input').on('keyup', function(){

$('input').each(function(index, element){

So I’ve been encountering another problem from the last code I’ve posted: it keeps on duplicating the current row I’m updating. The code for updating the row is fine, it stays at the same position not below all the rows, but the only problem is that it duplicates the current row I’m updating. This is my last problem and my code is done. Hope y’all could help me.

You're using the same button for both add and update. When you are updating, it is calling the append part, which you don't want to do:
//ADD RECORD
$("tbody").append("<tr><td class='name'>" + name + "</td><td class='course'>" + course + "</td><td><a href='#' class='edit'>Edit</a></td><td><a href='#' class='delete'>Delete</a></td></tr>");
You need to check if you are adding or editing before this append.
If the record is going to be updated then no need to add it in table.
Modified code:
//UPDATE RECORD
if (row) {
row.find('td:eq(0)').text($('#name').val());
row.find('td:eq(1)').text($('#course').val());
$('#name').val('');
$('#course').val('');
}
else
{
//ADD RECORD
$("tbody").append("<tr><td class='name'>" + name + "</td><td class='course'>" + course + "</td><td><a href='#' class='edit'>Edit</a></td><td><a href='#' class='delete'>Delete</a></td></tr>");
}
Full code:
function remove(deletelink) {
$(deletelink).closest("tr").remove();
if ($("tbody").find("tr").length == 0) {
$("tbody").append("<tr id='nomore'><td colspan='4'>No more records.</td></tr>");

You are getting the duplication because your save action has an append in it
//ADD RECORD
$("tbody").append("<tr><td class='name'>" + name + "</td><td class='course'>" + course + "</td><td><a href='#' class='edit'>Edit</a></td><td><a href='#' class='delete'>Delete</a></td></tr>");
Use the row variable you are setting as an if condition to see if you should add or edit
if(!row){
$("tbody").append("<tr><td class='name'>" + name + "</td><td class='course'>" + course + "</td><td><a href='#' class='edit'>Edit</a></td><td><a href='#' class='delete'>Delete</a></td></tr>");
} else {
row.find('td:eq(0)').text($('#name').val());
row.find('td:eq(1)').text($('#course').val());
$('#name').val('');
$('#course').val('');
//set row back to null
row=null;
}
You are also creating new click handlers for all your rows each time "Save" is clicked, not just adding a new one to a new row. This will cause duplicated event calls for a single click. Use event delegation and you will only need to setup click handlers once:
$("table").on('click','.delete',function() {
remove(this);
});
//EDIT RECORD
$("table").on('click','.edit',function() {
row = $(this).closest('tr');
$('#name').val(row.find('td:eq(0)').text())
$('#course').val(row.find('td:eq(1)').text())
edit(this);
});
Here, I'm trying to insert a tr tag under a selected tr tag.I managed to insert the tr in the table but it was in the bottom.
This is a sample code:
"use strict";
(function(angular) {
var app = angular.module('app', []);
app.controller('MainController', MainController);
MainController.$inject = ['$compile', '$scope', '$templateCache'];
function MainController($compile, $scope, $templateCache) {
var publishShown = false;
var lastItemAppned;
var vm = this;
vm.targets = ['Single passenger', 'Single driver', 'All passengers', 'All drivers'];
vm.items = ["Cheese", "Pepperoni", "Black Olives"];
vm.cancel = cancel;
vm.fruits = [{
name: 'Orange',
color: 'Orange',
tree: 'Orange Tree!',
origin: 'China'
}, {
name: 'Apple',
color: 'Green',
tree: 'Apple Tree!',
origin: 'Moon'
}];
vm.message = 'Fruit store!';
function appendTemplate(event) {
if (publishShown) {
removeLastAppend();
}
publishShown = true;
var template = $templateCache.get('template.html');
var compiledHtml = $compile(template)($scope);
var parent = event.currentTarget.parentElement.parentElement.parentElement;
parent.append(compiledHtml[0]);
}
vm.showOptions = function(event) {
appendTemplate(event);
}
function removeLastAppend() {
angular.element('#publish-template').remove();
}
function cancel() {
removeLastAppend();
}
}
})(window.angular);

As you see, if you click the second options button, you'll not notice the problem, but if you click the first one, it adds a tr tag always in the bottom of the table!
My aim is to add the new tr under the selected on.
Thanks in advance
The ng-repeat is running on the tr element and you are looking to break the loop and insert another tr in the middle based on the row that was clicked on. To achieve this you need to break the table into 3 parts
TR ng-repeat on topFruits
TR row with option buttons (will be hidden initially)
TR ng-repeat on bottomFruits
Initially, you will need to assign all the fruits to topFruits and keep the bottomFruits null. Also keep the tr row with the option buttons hidden.
When the show Options button is clicked on a row, get the index of the row and then divide the fruits between topFruits and bottomFruits based on the index. Also make the row with buttons visible.
Here is a working demo
Here is the HTML body

I have designed a html table where table rows with data are dynamically generated.In each table row tr, i set 1 table data td for html select tag and 1 table data td for html input tag.So i want to insert the selected option value into its adjacent input field.Also i want to keep a Remove functionality to remove each table row.
Here is my code:
$(document).on('change', '#mySelect', function() {
if ($(this).val != 0) {
$('.amount').val($(this).val());
} else {
$('.amount').val('');
}
});
$('#remScnt').live('click', function() {
if( i > 2 ) {
$(this).parent('tr').remove();
i--;
}
return false;
});

So the problem is all inputs are taking same option values. i think it is due to lack of uniqueness of each input tag as i use class instead of id.Also Remove hyperlink not working.please help.
Like said, you should use class instead of id, and look closely on change event handler i make, same goes to remove functionality, see following code :
$('#myTable').on('change', '.mySelect', function() {
// you can use .closest() to find
// particular input on same row with select
$(this).closest('tr').find('.amount').val($(this).val());
});
$('#myTable').on('click','.remScnt', function(e) {
e.preventDefault();
// find the tr element of remove link
// which is a parent
$(this).closest('tr').remove()
});

border-collapse: collapse;

<script>
function addMore() {
var table = document.getElementById("myTable");
var row = table.insertRow(-1);
var cell1 = row.insertCell(-1);
var cell2 = row.insertCell(-1);
var x = document.getElementById("myTable").rows[1].cells;
cell1.innerHTML = x[0].innerHTML;
cell2.innerHTML = x[1].innerHTML;
}
function removeLast() {
var tableTr = document.getElementById("myTable").rows.length;
if ( tableTr > 1 )
document.getElementById("myTable").deleteRow(-1);
}
function removeRowNo() {
var index = document.getElementById('value').value
document.getElementById("myTable").deleteRow(index);
}
</script>

This is my html code and I would like to get the data of rows in which checkbox is checked.
HTML
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
<div >
<header>
<h1>
<span>Expand Fed</span>
</h1>
</header>
<h1>
<span>Fed Members </span>
</h1>
<table id="my-table">
<thead>
<tr>
<td>Service Set</td>
<td>Available Devices</td>
<td>Status</td>
<td>Add</td>
</tr>
</thead>
</table>
<footer>
<div>
<input id="so-fedExpand-expand-button" class="button primary" type="submit" value="Expand"/>
Cancel
</div>
</footer>
</div>
</body>
</html>
jQuery
var FedExpandView = (function() {
var EXPAND = '#so-fedExpand-expand-button';
function FedExpandView() {
this.init = function () {
$(EXPAND).on('click', onExpand);
var data = [{ SSet: "Service Set 1", ADevices: '46', Status: "Online"},
{ SSet: "Service Set 2", ADevices: '47', Status: "Online"},
{ SSet: "Service Set 3", ADevices: '48', Status: "Online"}];
$('#my-table').dataTable({
bPaginate : false,
bFilter : false,
bInfo : false,
aaData: data,
aoColumns : [
{mDataProp: 'SSet', id: 'so-fed-ss'},
{mDataProp: 'ADevices', id: 'so-fed-adev'},
{mDataProp: 'Status', id: 'so-fed-status'},
{sDefaultContent: '',
fnRender: function (oObj) {
return '<input type="checkbox" id="so-fed-checkbox" name="select"">';
},
sWidth: '10px', sClass: "icon"}
]
}).rowReordering().
addClass('reorderable');
$('#my-table tbody tr').first().addClass('selected');
this.resume();
}
this.resume = function () {
}
}
return new FedExpandView();
}());
This is how i am getting static data into the table...
can some one help me in getting data of the remaining rows...
Try this example
JS
function checkTable() {
var rowElem;
$('#my-table tr').each(function(idx, elem) {
rowElem = $(elem);
if(rowElem.find('input').is(':checked')) {
console.log('row ' + (idx + 1) + ' is checked');
console.log('data1 is: ' + rowElem.find('.data1').html());
console.log('data2 is: ' + rowElem.find('.data2').html());
}
});
}
HTML
<table id="my-table">
<tr>
<td>
<input type="checkbox">
</td>
<td class="data1">Row1 Data1</td>
<td class="data2">Row1 Data2</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<input type="checkbox">
</td>
<td class="data1">Row2 Data1</td>
<td class="data2">Row2 Data2</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<input type="checkbox">
</td>
<td class="data1">Row3 Data1</td>
<td class="data2">Row3 Data2</td>
</tr>
</table>
<button onclick="checkTable()">Check table</button>
Plunker demo
$("#my-table tbody tr").on('click', function (event) {
serviceSets.length = 0;
var rows = $('table tr td :checkbox:checked').map(function () {
return $(this).val();
}).get();
$( rows ).each(function() {
var that = this;
$( Tabledata ).each(function() {
if(that == this.ssid)
{
serviceSets.push(this);
}
});
});
});
