<asp:Label ID="Label2" runat="server" CssClass="classCurrency3" />
</td>
<td> </td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>

var amount = $("#txtTotalAmount").val();

Nested table with data tables

I have the following nested HTML table. I am using the Datatables API to make my tables searchable. One problem I have faced is with the nested tables I'm not sure how to make the nested tables searchable? I have tried adding additional ID tags to the nested tables HTML code and adding that into the dataTables JS code call but that did not work. Any idea how to make the sub-tables searchable?

If you by "searchable" mean DataTables inside DataTables you can use the createdRow callback to initialize tables inside a <tr>'s columns.
You must have a columns section in order to compensate for the missing <thead> in the nested tables (avoiding the TypeError: col is undefined error) :
const columns = [
{ title: '' },
]
Init the nested tables in the createdRow callback:
let table = $('#example').DataTable({
createdRow: function(row) {
$(row).find('td table')
.DataTable({
columns: columns,
dom: 'tf'
})
}
})
Notice the dom section. Here only showing the table itself and the filter box. You
can remove the header with
table.dataTable td table thead {
display: none;
}
Dont add this CSS if you want sortable columns in the nested tables.
demo using the markup in question -> http://jsfiddle.net/davidkonrad/8pzkr6yn/
Update. If your concern just is to be able to search within the content of the nested tables (e.g the HTML markup scraped away) just define the relevant columns type as 'html' (https://datatables.net/reference/option/columns.type) :
let table = $('#example').DataTable({
columnDefs: [
{ targets: [2,3,4,5,6,7], type: 'html' },
],
...
})

Get the running balance of several tables with JQuery

I have several tables with the same structure. It has different values for the price. I want to get the running balance of the price column. So I want to get the sum and print each iteration in the running balance column. For example. In the Price column I have 400, 425 and 350 so in the running balance column, I should have 400, 825, 1175. Currently, I'm only getting the sum.
Here is my html
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.12.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<table class="table table-striped">
<thead>
<tr>
<th width="60%">Item</th>
<th width="20%">Price</th>
<th width="20%">Running Balance</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Bacon</td>
<td class="price">1300</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Pancakes</td>
<td class="price">300</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><b>Total:</b></td>
<td class="total"><b>$</b></td>
<td class="totalBal"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<br>
<table class="table table-striped">
<thead>
<tr>
<th width="60%">Item</th>
<th width="20%">Price</th>
<th width="20%">Running Balance</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Fries</td>
<td class="price">400</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Nuggets</td>
<td class="price">425</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Ice Cream</td>
<td class="price">350</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><b>Total:</b></td>
<td class="total"><b>$</b></td>
<td class="totalBal"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
here is my javascript
$('.runningBal').each(function() {
var sum = 0;
$(this).parents('table').find('.price').each(function() {
var floted = parseFloat($(this).text());
if (!isNaN(floted)) sum += floted;
$('.runningBal').html(sum);
})
//$(this).html(sum);
});
Here is the fiddle
Well people in the comments are right to say that if the product prices are constant, you should render it server-side while you loop.
Anyway, this will do the job :
$("table").each(function() {
var sum = 0;
$(this).find(".runningBal").each(function() {
sum += +$(this).prev(".price").text();
$(this).text(sum);
});
})
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<table class="table table-striped">
<thead>
<tr>
<th width="60%">Item</th>
<th width="20%">Price</th>
<th width="20%">Running Balance</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Bacon</td>
<td class="price">1300</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Pancakes</td>
<td class="price">300</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><b>Total:</b></td>
<td class="total"><b>$</b></td>
<td class="totalBal"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<br>
<table class="table table-striped">
<thead>
<tr>
<th width="60%">Item</th>
<th width="20%">Price</th>
<th width="20%">Running Balance</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Fries</td>
<td class="price">400</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Nuggets</td>
<td class="price">425</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Ice Cream</td>
<td class="price">350</td>
<td class="runningBal"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><b>Total:</b></td>
<td class="total"><b>$</b></td>
<td class="totalBal"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>

Javascript function executed before previous function is done

I have a webpage that contains a couple of tables.
At the beginning it checks the language and sets the corresponding translations.
At the end of the html file (after all the elements are loaded) the translations are set using javascript.
After that variables are requested via wifi.
This is what I see when I load the page.
The elements that don't need translation are shown before set_language_for_raw_data_() is executed.
I have checked Chrome's developer tools and saw this.
It shows that set_language_for_raw_data_() is executed before Raw_Data_Requests(), but it does not show until Raw_Data_Requests() is done.
Is there a way to show the translations before Raw_Data_Requests() is executed?

With rxjs you can do someting like
set_language_for_raw_data_(){
//Your code
return Observable.of(language );
}
set_language_for_raw_data_().subscribe(() => Raw_Data_Requests());
Here, you wait until the set_language_for_raw_data_ returns an observable. You can then subscribe on it. From the moment the observable is completed, it will call the next function.
The complete explanation you can find on http://reactivex.io/, But take some time and check how Observables are working
What I did to make the translations show was add a timeout:
set_language_for_raw_data_();
setTimeout(function(){
Raw_Data_Requests();
}, 20);
Apparently this was enough time for the html to be shown/updated.

How to multiply two value on focus of any text box using javascript?

I have a table in which I have some columns:
<table id="TableID1">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Sr. No.</th>
<th>Item Code</th>
<th>Description</th>
<th>Quantity</th>
<th width="10%">Price</th>
<th>Total</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>5</td>
<td>TE0011200MAH3VG00</td>
<td>3 d1,</td>
<td>12</td>
<td><input type="number"></td>
<td><input type="number"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>6</td>
<td>SG0246100KAD1HG10</td>
<td>3 d1,</td>
<td>12</td>
<td><input type="number"></td>
<td><input type="number"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
If a user adds some value in the "Price" column then I multiply "Quantity" and "Price" and show the result in the third column "Total" in the same row. It will have to run time. Please give me a solution in javascript or jQuery.
You can do it like this :
$("#TableID1").find("input").change(function(){
var getVal = $(this).parent().index();
var multiply = Number($(this).parent().parent().find("td").eq(getVal-1).text()) * $(this).val();
$(this).parent().parent().find("td").eq(getVal+1).find("input").val(multiply)
});
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<table id="TableID1">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Sr. No.</th>
<th>Item Code</th>
<th>Description</th>
<th>Quantity</th>
<th width="10%">Price</th>
<th>Total</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>5</td>
<td>TE0011200MAH3VG00</td>
<td>3 d1,</td>
<td>12</td>
<td>
<input type="number">
</td>
<td>
<input type="number">
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>6</td>
<td>SG0246100KAD1HG10</td>
<td>3 d1,</td>
<td>12</td>
<td>
<input type="number">
</td>
<td>
<input type="number">
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Hope it helps :)
Attach input event handler and update the input based on the value.
$(document).ready(function() {
$('tr td:nth-child(5) input').on('input', function() {
// get input in last column and set value
$(this).closest('tr').find('td:nth-child(6) input').val(
// get value from input, and use `+` to convert string to number
+$(this).val() *
// get quantity value and multiply
+$(this).closest('tr').find('td:nth-child(4)').text());
});
});
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<table id="TableID1">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Sr. No.</th>
<th>Item Code</th>
<th>Description</th>
<th>Quantity</th>
<th width="10%">Price</th>
<th>Total</th>
</tr>

Multiple user controls and clientid asp.net JS

I am following the post:
http://mosesofegypt.net/post/GridView-with-Select-All-CheckBox-using-JQuery.aspx
to create a checkbox column in asp.net gridview with select/deselect all functionality.
In my case, the gridview and the javascript (JQuery) code lies inside a dynamically load usercontrol, and there are more than one instances of that user control. The select/deselect functionality works only in the last usercontrol created on page.
In other words, the gvProducts.ClientId in the js script knows only about the last gridview.
Any ideas how can I get reference to the ClientIds of gridview inside other usercontrol (i.e. other than the last) ?
Any help would be most appreciated.
EDIT : This question is essentially the same as asked in this post : Multiple user control instances and ClientID in JS
but there are no helping answers for it.
Thanks,

You could add a CssClass to the GridView and base your jQuery selector off of that.
Script:
<script type="text/javascript">
$(function () {
$(".t th input:checkbox").click(function () {
var $checkbox = $(this).closest('table').find(':checkbox:not(:first)');
$checkbox.attr('checked', $(this).attr('checked'));
});
});
</script>
2 tables with the same class name:
<table class="t">
<tr>
<th align="left" scope="col">Category</th>
<th align="left" scope="col">Product</th>
<th align="right" scope="col">Unit Price</th>
<th align="left" scope="col">Supplier</th>
<th scope="col">
<input type="checkbox" name="select-all" />
</th>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
</table>
<br /><br /><br />
<table class="t">
<tr>
<th align="left" scope="col">Category</th>
<th align="left" scope="col">Product</th>
<th align="right" scope="col">Unit Price</th>
<th align="left" scope="col">Supplier</th>
<th scope="col">
<input type="checkbox" name="select-all" />
</th>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td><input type="checkbox" /></td>
</tr>
</table>
