Google Places API only returning 1 result - javascript

We saw in a similar question that the Places API should return up to 5 results, but right now we are only able to get 1 result. We were following the tutorial to display museums in Sydney. Does anyone know how to display more than one result? The script for the Maps and Places API is below.

How to add pins to google map using jQuery and JSON

I am trying to add pins to a Google Map using postcodes stored in a Google Sheet. So far I have been able to access to the Postcodes in the spreadsheet using JSON:

Going over quota on Google Maps Api

So I am trying to make a simple application that will allow the user to search for restaurants and have the results show as markers on the map and as text below. The results object that returns from the textSearch doesn't provide detailed information like: phone number, pictures, etc. So i decided to create an array of place id's pushed from the results object, get the place details for each id, then push that into an array. The problem I get is a message from google saying I'm over my quota and I think it's because I'm requesting the place details for every single search result.
Is there a way I can request the place details only for the marker I click? Or is there a better solution to my problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

I had the same issue some time ago. The geocoding function by google is done in order to avoid the user executing it on a large set of data (and then, avoid you to get a large amount of geocoded address easily).
My solution was to execute the geocoding function only when the user choose a particular place, and then, display this particular data (handled by the click on the pin).
I think it would be very useful to initiate a jsfiddle with a working version of your code.
Basically on your function :

Google Places API, how do I fetch the reviews?

A few people have asked this before but with no joy. But, it seems as though recently, google have offered the availability to fetch reviews from your google places via their api.

I have the url that shows the json of the exact google place I want, however, I cannot see an example on how to fetch the reviews only from this and am completely stuck. Their example shows how to show the map, but not how to fetch the reviews only. Has anyone done this? If so, is there an example of how to do it? Thanks.

I was entering locations which are very close to each other e.g 1 and 2 point which gives same latlong hence mark as one place. I found latlong here. Thanks for answers btw :)

Javascript Loop - 2nd variable Not Displaying

The markers in this script are all # the correct postal code, but they all show the same icon (visitor_icon.png) !
The problem is that you are creating a function in a loop. JavaScript has only function scope, not block scope. I.e. variables you create in a loop exist only once in the whole function, just the values changes per iteration.
At the time icon_img is evaluated (in the callback passed to geocode), the outer for loop already finished and icon_img has the value of the last iteration. It works for address because it is evaluated inside the loop, not later.
You have to 'capture' the current value of icon_img and you can do so by using an immediate function:
