Randomly redirect to url BUT 1 number changes (via Javascript)

So, I use this code

and I use "/truth1" "/truth2" "dare1" etc
Is it at all possible to have javascript automatically put a random number at the end of the URL between what I set it to?
In other words
I want Javascript to add a number to the end of
truthordare0.weebly.com/truth
truthordare0.weebly.com/dare
To truthordare0.weebly.com/dare1, truthordare0.weebly.com/dare2
To truthordare0.weebly.com/truth1, truthordare0.weebly.com/truth2
putting a random number between 1-25 at the end of "truth" or "dare". If I have to make the numbers two-digit, please let me know!
It might be handy to know:
-The code above will be used on truthordare0.weebly.com/truth
(which will redirect to /truth1, /truth2, etc
-The code above is used in vitemulti.weebly.com/yesorno-select

Displaying the filename of a HREF in Javascript

I have a page with a download button like this:
<a href="http://www.example.nl/filename.pdf" download>DOWNLOAD</a>
Below, I want (text) to automatically display "filename.pdf" (rather than having to do this by hand hundreds of times).
I found the script below that displays the filename of the PAGE but I want it to display the FILENAME of a HREF I've used on the actual page.
Any help is much appreciated.

Not sure where you want the "text" to display... so I put it in a div

The big change, is to get all the "a" tags, using getElementsByTagName... and then iterating over the list, and then you can use the string split, and pop off the last segment before appending it to a destination.

for(i = 0;i < input.length; i++)

var segment_array = segment_str.split( '/' );
var last_segment = segment_array.pop();
document.getElementById("result").innerText += last_segment;

How to extract all hyperlink titles from big html string using javascript?

I got an HTML string as :var code; I want to extract all hyper link title values in this big string and place them in textarea. I tried the following but it never works. could any one tell me what i am doing wrong?
sample hyperlinks to look for(i want to extract mango,cherry,...) :

It looks like you're trying to parse HTML with regex. This post has some more info on that topic.
Since this question is tagged as jQuery, you could try something like the following...
Make a jQuery object out of the returned HTML:
$markup = $(data.contents);
Find the anchors:
$anchors = $markup.find('a');
Get the text (or whatever attribute you want from it):
arrText = [];
$anchors.each(function() {
arrText.push($(this).text());
});
Put result into textarea:
$textarea.val(arrText.join(','));

To achive this jquery is the simplest solution, you can try below code

I want to change the image when the page is refresh using html. I place my partial code here. i want a script or anything do change the image when the page gets refresh.. Please help me to do this using html ...

I believe this would work, but all your images would have to be sequentially named, e.g. 1-100. Also note that the script was placed AFTER the IMG tag.

The random formula in JS is:
var random = Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min + 1)) + min;
so if you only had 5 images between 135 and 140 your script would look like:
var random = Math.floor(Math.random() * (140 - 135 + 1)) + 135;
If you wanted to change the image client-side, like a slideshow, just add a timer.

What type of server are you using? Using PHP or ASP you can accomplish this using a script that cycles through your images in a script. So your HTML would just point to the script instead of directly to an image:
<img src="image_rotation_script.php" class="giThumbnail" alt="Nightclubs">
Then your script would rotate through your various images. Here is a PHP example:

Use can use JavaScript to change the src field of the image tag. First insert an ID attribute to your img tag, or a NAME attribute if it appears more often on the same page.
<img id="nightClubImage" src="img/IMG_1035.jpg" class="giThumbnail" alt="Nightclubs">
Then write a script and change the src field:
document.getElementById('nightClubImage').src = "newImage.jpg";

If you want use only client-side solution try this:

How do I write a variable a certain amount of times?

Is there any way to make JS write char x amount of times inside of an html element?

The problem with using document.write is that it erases the whole page, so how would I insert it in context?

Use a loop that loops 5 times, each time adding 'Hi!' onto the end.
var x = 5;
var char = '';
while (x--) {
char += 'Hi!';

// write once
document.write(char);
Or, you can just write 5 times:
var x = 5;
var char = 'Hi!';
while (x--) {
document.write(char);
}
Up to you which you choose, though I'd prefer the first (the less you mess with the document, the better).

document.write(..) doesnt erase the content of the entire page, if it is used in a proper way.

Really? I'm not sure where you got the idea that it erases the page first.

Use document.getElementById to get the element and append the text to element using .innerHTML .text property to it
