Im having a little problem with jCarousel ( http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/ ).
Everything works fine in Firefox and IE, however in Safari the carousel displays but the next button is inactive when there are actually more elements. Firefox and IE show the next button as active.
Is there a common fix for this or a known bug in jCarosuel?

I am working on this site "http://tinyurl.com/joblnmd". On home page there'gif animation, I've used preload method to load images, its working on all major browsers expect safari on Mac.
Is this bug in safari or is there any hack?
New Post: I've looked at the site again and there doesn't seem to be any problems. The loading hourglass appears for a long time, but it eventually disappears and the main content of the page is visible. It might be best for your to provide a JSFiddle with just the area in question so that I, or someone else, can have a proper look and help you solve your problem.
Old Post: Maybe you need to update your browser. My Mac Safari appears to show everything perfectly. But I'll check again later tonight. The animation looks very nice.
I'm pretty new to web-coding and in my attempt to create jQuery based menu bars complete with dropdowns I have stumbled upon some vast differences between broswers. Below you can see that while FF and Safari are the same, IE is actually behaving and Opera is ok-ish, Chrome gets it totally wrong. As far as I can tell I have all the latest versions.

Just in case, support for older versions of IE (6-7) is not required.
Right now I'm mostly concerned with the positioning aspect. Any assistance is much appreciated!
****EDIT:** After continuing to play with the chrome developer tools I realized that when I manually set the 1st list (pants/t-shirt) to display:block it displays as expected (exactly like FF and Safari in the image) so it appears that this is more of a javascript/jQuery issue not updating the DOM correctly(?). I also noticed that when I put the code is JSFiddle and ran the script in Chrome it produced the same error, but when I ran JSFiddle in FF (exact same fiddle link) it renders correctly.
It does not happen in Chrome Canary (version 24) but it does in stable (version 22). Apparently it is a bug which has been fixed.
You can either wait a month or two so that all Chrome users get the fix, or just use .show() instead of .show(0).
We have an automatic slider on this website, http://www.realcapfinancial.com and it has been working on all browsers. IE9 doesnt seem to work. It comes up with and error, no object line 298... character 2 etc. I forget what it says but I can't check it again since I'm at work using a mac.

The element with id calcclick is only added after the Resources tab is click. However, this element is already adressed (on line 298) on page load.
I have a flash menu on a site. The menu works fine in all browsers EXCEPT IE9. It looks like this javascript file is not loading:

In IE9 it just displays BUTTON1, BUTTON2 etc but in all other browsers it displays the complete menu. This is what happens when the ActiveContentDropDownWide.js script is removed which is why it seems to be a problem with that script and IE9. But I could be wrong?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Try doing a Fiddler capture with IE9 and FF. Then, compare the 2 captures using Fiddler's Diff feature.
It is seems to me that the menu is hiding behind the content
maybe it is z-index problem if the flash menu inside a div ,give it high z-index number or google for ie9 z-index problem.
The javascript file that powers some of the menu needed to be updated with a new version that supports IE9. Once I updated it, the menu worked fine in IE9. Thanks.
I'm trying to make a jquery tooltip that appears when a user mouses over a link. In my case the link is using display:block style so that it covers a large area. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it doesn't work at all. The tooltip doesn't show, the browsers own tooltip shows etc... IE!!!!

Works great in chrome, firefox and internet explorer. I guess it is best to use one that is mature. The only thing that still annoys me is in firefox if you click on the link then click the browser back button, the tooltip is statically displayed over the link area until you move the mouse back over the link area. This doesn't happen with the other browsers.
Which version of IE you are using? In IE 8 it is fine.
